Amber And Her Wolves 20 Chapter 20 Hunters Letter

I woke up in the morning with something wrapped around my waist meaning that I couldn't get up. I opened my eyes and realised Alec was the one holding me. I forgot that I slept in his room last night. I slowly managed to peal his arm off me so I could go and so my morning routine. Sadly after yesterday my bow and arrows had been confiscated by Bradley because my arms needed time to heal. He said that I could have them back in a few weeks. So I'm currently not talking to him. Alec was glad because it meant I couldn't hurt myself whilst training. However, I am allowed to train as long as I did it with one of the boys to make sure that they didn't hurt me. When Alec finally woke up an hour after me, we went downstairs for breakfast. it was about ten so it wasn't too late. I now didn't have to go to collage as I took personal time off. In other words I had other things to do. Everyone was silent when we came down. They were all looking at Alec. Daniel handed Alec a letter. It was for the Alpha of the Crystal Moon pack. That was this pack I take it. I like the name. He opened the letter and quickly read it. He growled and threw it on the floor. He stormed to his office and slammed the door. Why was he so short tempered? I picked up the letter and read it too.

'Dear Alpha of the Crystal Moon Pack,

We understand that you have someone that belongs to us. A very special girl as come into your care. As set by laws hundreds of years ago, the girl belongs to us. She will be delivered to us in chains so that she can have a fair trial at sun down. If she has found to be guilty she will be executed at sun rise. However if she isn't she will be returned to your care.

Now I know why he stormed off. What did they mean by a trial and what am I going to be guilty of? "If they find you guilty of being a hybrid they will kill you. Unless you can help them, then they will train you." Daniel explained.

"How can they tell?"

"A potion which will show them what kind of hybrid you are." Daniel said. I made some bacon sandwiches and brought them to Alec's office so that we could talk and not have him storm out of the room.
