At about eight the boys got back looking tired. I was waiting for them in their office so they could tell me what happened. They came over to me and hugged me first, then gave me a lecture and then sat down to eat and tell me what happened. It was interesting. Basically they all got told what they already knew. That was it and it took them nine hours. The whole reason they are late getting home is because Alec was late to the meeting that was in his territory because it was in his house! The boys told me he came down smelling of about five different females and s.e.x. That stung a bit. Even though I hated him it was still upsetting that he didn't even try to grieve. It's been a little over a month and now he's with five girls at once. "He's not worth whatever your thinking about Amber." Ash said and gave me a smile. I smiled back. I think I was more disappointed at him because it proved he never cared for me really. They told me that Daniel was fine now and was in his pack hospital. The hunter was being taken to caught but it was a high possibility he would be put in prison for attacking Daniel for no reason. Plus Daniel was a Beta which meant that Daniel would definitely win the case. I just nodded and said that I was going to bed. I didn't want to go to bed really, I just wanted out of the conversation. I went to my room and sat on my bed. I was stupid to think Alec could change and actually love me like he was supposed to. I watched TV until one in the morning. I couldn't sleep no matter what I tried to do. so I opened my bedroom window and jumped out. I s.h.i.+fted mid air and ran around the forest until I saw the sun rising. I found the river that meant I reached the border. I found a cave near the river and settled in there for the rest of the night. There was nothing else to do really. I loved sleeping in my wolf form anyway so it wasn't hard to sleep. Even in a cave, I was perfectly warm and comfortable. I slept until my brothers found me in the morning and took me back to the pack house. I had something to eat and went straight to my room again. They knew something was wrong. I didn't want to tell them but I knew I would have too.
