Nadazhda POV

I landed on my comfy bed to take a little nap only to find my eyes fluttered opened due to the creaked of the door, Zeke peeked his head in before smiling cheekily while his eyes twinkled with unholy mischief and I groaned loudly.

"Split it out," I said, straighten my stiff tiny muscles.

"Well, lover boy is asking for you" he wiggled his brows playfully. The stinging in my heart ease softly when I heard that Zaccheus wanted to see me. A radiant made its way to my lips with some unfathomable bubbles of happiness.

What is this feeling, I wondered because I didn't understand. I just wanted to be with him every time, anytime, everywhere and anywhere. I'd low self-esteem but with him, I felt belonging to here as a human, like I was someone important. My relations.h.i.+p with him I didn't understand even when he told me about his secret. I felt at ease and happy that he could confide in me by showing me his beasts yet funny enough, I found his beasts endearing. I always felt protected and secured with him. Everything about him was perfect from the way his eyes watch me like a hawk or how his hand moulded with my tiny waist or how I felt giddy whenever...

"Ouch!" I moaned in pain, touching my forehead to ease where Zeke had flickered.

"Stop daydreaming!" he scowled at me with his hands on his waist while I pouted.

"I wasn't daydreaming" I defended while he raised his brow mockingly.

"I see" he nodded his head dramatically, "you weren't daydreaming but night-dreaming," he said in a high pitched voice which dripped with sarcasm.

"I was just thinking why I always feel at ease with Zaccheus and.." my white skin was crimson red with embarra.s.sment as I nibbled on my lips nervously.

"And?..."

"The sparks, electric.."

His eyes clicked on understanding before he patted my head like a mother hen, "don't worry that small brain of yours, everything will b.." his statement was cut off by the stiffness of his body, he stared at the wall while his eyes glistened with tears. His mind wasn't with me again, he was mindlinking someone.

When he said as through, he gasped out loud and wipe a lone tear from his eyes before he smiled at me, "lover boy is waiting for you, we can't keep him waiting".

"Where's he?" I asked because I could not wait to see him, I didn't understand but my heart yearned for him. I put my untamed beast; hair into a bun while some strains were tickling my ears which made me giggled out.

Zeke looked at me confusedly and pointed his gaze at me, asking," are you okay?" while I nodded in reply.

"Sure?".

"Sure" I replied, forcing the hair strains behind my ears. I jumped in fright when I heard the rambled of the thunder.

"It's okay dear, it happens every time when..." he paused a little and smiled sadly at me.

"When?..." I asked curiously.

"You'll soon know, I'm not in any position to tell you," he said dismissively, indicating the end of that discussion. I whipped my head to the window whether the cloud was gloomy but found the sun at the high peak, s.h.i.+ning to the fullest and maybe smiling at me.

I snorted at my silly thoughts, why would the sun smile at me?.

"It's somehow strange here" I voice out my thoughts while he stared at me.

"The thunder strikes and the sun smiling at me, I hope am I not going crazy" I laughed nervously, rubbing the back of my neck.

"You aren't going crazy my sugarcrush" he smiled knowingly at me, looking at the sky while his brows knitted in worries.

"What happened to made him lose control?" I heard Zeke mumbled as I wanted to ask him what he meant, he tugged my hand abruptly making me stumbled on my steps.

"Let's go quickly," he said hurriedly as his voice lace with fear.

We walked through many corridors before we stopped at a big mahogany door which had a blazing fire craved on it. I stared at the design in perspectively trying to understand what the blazing fire that surrounded the wolf head meant.

"Enter" I heard his voice commanded on the other side. The pain in my heart ease as if it wasn't there. I was nervous to enter yet excited to see him. I didn't know what was wrong with me, I tended to lose my common sense which was not common whenever I was around him.

The door is as opened widely as my gaze found him, it was like everything stopped working. My breath hitched as I took in his Adonis's face. I couldn't get enough of it even though I met him last night. His blue eyes swirled with emotions that were too suffocating for my beating heart. He stood from his seat and strode to me quickly yet slowly, I was sure that he could hear how he was affecting me. He pulled me in a tight hug as he sniffed my hair and sighed in content, mumbling how he missed me. I giggled lightly when he bit me softly at the crook of my neck.

"Sorry to interrupt you lovebirds but we need to see the Queen" I heard a teasing man voice in the room which made me raised my head abruptly in shocked seeing a big man behind him.

I didn't notice anyone inside, all my focus were on Zaccheus that I'd forget about everyone even Zeke.

I hid my flaming face on his perfect chest embarra.s.singly.

He took a step back which made me raised my head as he touched my cheeks softly before he pecked my forehead.

"I want to introduce you to someone" his gaze never left mine as he smiled, showing his prominent dimples. I nearly drool at his perfect face.

"Okay" I nodded slowly while he held my tiny hand in his big hand which engulfed it.

"Awwwwwn" I didn't know where this sound came from.

The man stepped forward, smiling at me while his eyes gave nothing only knowledge, wisdom and experience.

"I'm Alec knight, the decedent of King Solomon" he bowed his head a little while I stared at him dumbfounded because I didn't understand what was happening.

A descendant of King is bowing to you, my common sense filled me in while my eyes widen in horror.

A descendant bowing!

Holy amino of protein!

I crouched on the floor, with my head down, "it is an honour meeting a descendant of the King. This poor ser..." my rambling were interrupted as Zaccheus pulled me up.

"You don't bow to anyone because everyone would bow to you dear, " Zaccheus said softly as he glared at the man heatedly and the man mouth twitched.

"He's a..." I tried to defend my actions but the booming sounds of someone or people laughter made me scout closer to Zaccheus for protection. When the man noticed my movement, his eyes twinkled with understanding.

"I'm sorry for their inappropriate behaviour my Queen" the man pointed to his side while bowing his head again.

I followed his pointed fingers and saw three identical beings in cloaks, their eyes were hidden behind the hoods.

They moved forward simultaneously at a normal pace when they were a foot away from me, they bowed and said in unison, "Queen".

I didn't understand a thing that was happening. It was impossible for me to be a queen! Talk less of a lady in waiting.

"Time, Fate and Destiny are at your service," they said together as their glowing colourful eyes revealed behind the hood.
