In the end, Jian Qi and Leng Yu were the only two left in the canteen.
Leng Yu, who usually displayed a cool expression on her face, did not seem to be in good shape either. However, she was much better than Jian Qi in that she had at least eaten three pieces of pork knuckles.
The last one was truly a struggle to eat.
Leng Yu felt like puking from just staring at the last piece of pork knuckle.
Meanwhile, Jian Qi was still on her first one.
Right then, Tang Jinyu walked into the canteen. He pulled out the stool across from the two ladies and sat down.
After taking a glance at the remaining pork knuckles, Tang Jinyu began to speak coldly. “Jian Qi, are you eating slowly because you think it’s delicious and want to enjoy it for as long as possible?”
Jian Qi shook her head. “No, I was waiting for Instructor Tang to come so we can eat together. Sharing is caring.”
As Jian Qi spoke, she pushed the three pieces of pork knuckles in front of her over to Tang Jinyu.
When Leng Yu glanced at the pork knuckles in front of Tang Jinyu, she could not help but experience a gag reflex.
Tang Jinyu saw Leng Yu’s reaction and waved his hand to indicate that she could leave.
Thankful to be pardoned, Leng Yu hurriedly stood up and left.
“Can I leave too?” Jian Qi asked with a chuckle. She was still not done with eating the pork knuckle in her hand.
“Do you intend to waste food?” There was a hint of warning in Tang Jinyu’s deep voice.
Jian Qi shook her head. Forcing herself to bear with the oily texture of the pork knuckle, she hurriedly finished it off.
After Jian Qi was done, she burped and looked at Tang Jinyu. “I’ve finished it…”
Tang Jinyu’s mouth twitched as he pushed the plate back to her. “There are three more!”
Jian Qi. “…”
“Instructor Tang, if your little fairy continues to eat, she will die from eating too much!” Jian Qi looked at Tang Jinyu bitterly.
Tang Jinyu snorted sarcastically. “Weren’t you eager to eat on the helicopter? I naturally have to satisfy your wis.h.!.+”
“I can’t eat anymore.” Jian Qi batted her eyelids pitifully.
“Do you still want pork knuckles in the future?” Tang Jinyu smiled.
Jian Qi decisively shook her head. ‘This is a lifetime of trauma!’
“I really can’t eat anymore.” Jian Qi felt as if she would puke.
In all honesty, she respected her comrades who were each able to finish all four pork knuckles.
They were all strong men.
“How do you plan on dealing with these if you can’t eat them?” Tang Jinyu asked calmly.
Apart from the single pork knuckle Leng Yu left behind, there were three others Jian Qi had not finished eating on the table.
“You’ll eat them!” Jian Qi looked at Tang Jinyu calmly.
The kitchen staff nearby could not help but mourn for her when they heard how righteous she sounded.
‘Big Sister Qi, are you sure you are not trying to kill yourself by saying that?’
“Although these are all clean and untouched, they are still leftovers. It wouldn’t be right to give them to other people. Therefore, Instructor Tang, it’s better if you eat them!” Jian Qi added seriously.
“If it’s not good to give it to others, why are you asking me to eat them?” Tang Jinyu looked at Jian Qi coldly.
Jian Qi laughed in a matter-of-fact way. “Based on our relations.h.i.+p, the issue of eating what the other can’t finish does not exist. I am your little fairy, after all.”
“Your shamelessness is getting worse every day.” Tang Jinyu scoffed.
“If you had started treating me more gently earlier, I would definitely have become a gentle girl. Moreover, I would be the kind of girl you’d blush at whenever you see me.” Jian Qi chuckled.
Several people who stood nearby could not help but imagine what Jian Qi said. Instantly, they shuddered at the thought of Jian Qi being a gentle and shy girl.
“Go on and eat…” Jian Qi smiled as a sinister look appeared in her eyes.
Everyone must try something as frightening as pork knuckles. If Jian Qi had to puke, then everyone else should puke with her.
Why must she suffer for the sake of everyone else?
