The mother and daughter turned their heads just to see Lu Mello leaning against the doorpost with his arms crossed.

The two women brimmed in gladness when they saw him there.

Lu Mello straightened his back and walked towards them, "I'm back." He kissed his mother on her cheek before he went to his sister's side and messed her hair.

He laughed and ruffled her hair again just to annoy her more.

"She went to her room to drop their things." Xia Meilin replied, smiling as she watched her two children. She truly missed seeing them like this.

"Congratulations on getting pregnant again, mom." Lu Mello said with a grin.

She chuckled, "Thank you, sweetie. By the way, how are things between you and your boyfriend?"

Lu Weichun's hand that was holding a piece of cookie stopped in midair upon hearing her mother's words. In an instant, her face became sour. "What boyfriend? I don't remember having. Boyfriend."

Her mother was obviously surprised, on the other hand, Lu Mello who already knew what happened smirked inwardly. He placed an arm around his sister's shoulder, "I have a new car, it's a black Bugatti, want to try it out with me tonight?" As their worrywart mother reminded them of these, her three children only gave each other a knowing, mischievous glances.

Not long, Lu Yifeng arrived and when evening came, the family was able to have their dinner together. It was such a warm sight to see them that way. After dinner, the children left their parents just so they could try out the new car.
