At night, Mo Yichen was faint and walked slowly along the street.

He felt lonely.

He neither wanted to go home nor to the hospital. He didn’t want to do anything since he was helpless and aggrieved.

He walked for a long time, tired and sleepy. He looked around and felt it was familiar. He went to Gu Yan’s home unconsciously. He looked at Gu Yan’s window. It was late but Gu Yan didn’t sleep. “What is she doing? How is she in recent days?” Mo Yichen thought.

Mo Yichen was curious and went upstairs. Then he knocked on the door.

“Rub-a-dub.”

“Who is it?” Gu Yan didn’t open the door. She was cautious in the midnight.

“It’s me… Gu Yan… It’s me…” He replied in a low voice. He leant on the door and waited for Gu Yan. He kept knocking on the door which caused the complaints from the neighbors.

“It’s so late. Please be quiet.” The neighbor complained.

“Don’t you know that we are falling asleep? Can’t you come here tomorrow?”

“You such an uneducated person.”

Mo Yichen ignored the neighbors and listened to the sound from Gu Yan’s house carefully. She ran to open the door.

She wore the pink pajamas and a pair of lovely slippers with unkempt hair. The light of the corridor was dim but her beauty was obvious. He couldn’t help holding her into arms and whispered, “Don’t leave me alone, please.”

Gu Yan stretched out her arms and stopped for a while. Finally, she hugged him tightly since he was decadent.

“Yichen, come in. What’s going on?” Gu Yan was worried.

Mo Yichen released the hands and looked at Gu Yan with deep affection. Then he was pulled into the house by Gu Yan.

Mo Yichen sat on the sofa and looked around. Her house had little decoration but was cozy.

“OK. But you should sleep on the sofa.” Gu Yan said.

They looked at each other and was rocking forwards and backwards with laughter.

“Yichen, what happened?” Gu Yan asked again.

“My mother forces me to stay away from you. I can’t … I can’t …”

The more he said, the sadder he was. He held her hands tightly and hugged her again. Gu Yan touched his head gently as if he were a child.

“A follower?” Mo Yichen sat up and was confused.

“Yes, it’s Wen Yunfeng… He wants to make it up and remarry. But I have no feelings for him.” Gu Yan said.

Gu Yan told Mo Yichen about what happened a few days ago, which made Mo Yichen jealous.

“Who do you love?” Mo Yichen asked.

At that time, Mo Yichen lifted Gu Yan and put her on the bed tightly. Then he went to bed quickly and held Gu Yan tightly.
