Chapter 277: Time! The Crystal Ball That Can See Through the Future!
The fifth layer of light flickered.
He succeeded. After nearly half an hour, he finally broke the restriction on the fifth layer of the door.
The magic patterns on the door dimmed bit by bit, and the light slowly disappeared in all directions like water ripples.
Rumble!
The door slowly rose upwards, and the entire s.p.a.ce shook.
Finally… He could finally see the so-called Divine Medicine…
A dazzling golden light hit Su Han’s face, and he walked towards the inner part of the door step by step.
Almost at the Instant Su Han opened the door, an ear-piercing alarm sounded from the first to the fourth floor.
On the ground, the restriction on the wall of the Temple of Light jumped with a rapid light, and the alarm rumbled throughout the entire city.
The faces of all the people in the city changed drastically. They looked at the huge temple standing tall in the middle of the city. The last time there was such a city-wide alarm was when the Barbarian Army had invaded the Temple of Light hundreds of years ago.
A large number of troops gathered at the Temple of Light.
Dina, who was hiding in the dark, looked at the Temple of Light with a pale face, and stepped back step by step.
“Su Han… Lord Su Han… You… Please don’t get hurt!”
On the first, second, and third floor, the alarm rumbled.
Everyone’s face changed. They had heard about what this alarm meant in the handbook when they stepped into this place. The alarm would only sound when the strategic warehouse on the fifth floor was breached.
Could it be that someone had broken through their fourth floor’s blockade and forcefully opened the fifth floor’s door?
On the second floor, with a loud bang, the huge door shattered and countless restrictions exploded.
The Deputy Temple Master led the five Elders into the second floor’s domain with a ferocious expression.
The short middle-aged man suddenly spat out a mouthful of saliva. He sneered at the Deputy Temple Master and the others who had entered the second floor and said, “Come on!”
…
On the third floor, the Great Satanic scholar Kemp was floating above the a.s.sembly factory with an expressionless face.
The alarm sounded in the surroundings. Below, the faces of countless guards and slaves changed drastically. One after another, the demonic scholars left their posts and gathered at the a.s.sembly factory.
“Lord Kemp! What on earth happened!” a white-haired demonic scholar said with a tremble.
Kemp said expressionlessly, “Inform the guards to seal off the third level and close the door leading to the second level. Anyone who dares to leave will be killed immediately!”
The expressions of the surrounding people changed drastically as they said, “Lord Kemp! This alarm means that the fifth level may have been broken into. What we should do now is to inform the higher-ups immediately and not seal off the third level!”
Kemp said expressionlessly, “This is my order.”
“I remember now!” A witch said with a trembling voice, “Kemp! Who is that black-robed youth that you sent to the fourth level! Kemp! You better give us an explanation!”
Everyone’s expressions changed drastically again.
Kemp suddenly stretched out his hand, and a demonic machine suddenly appeared from his ring, instantly killing the witch.
“Kemp! What are you doing!?” An old man retreated, his face ashen.
Kemp said expressionlessly, “This is what you get for daring to question me!”
The surrounding people were jittery, and a terrifying truth was instantly placed in front of them. Their beloved Great Devilish Scholar, Kemp, had betrayed them.
The surrounding guards pulled out their swords one by one, and everyone retreated in all directions, trembling as they looked at Kemp in the sky.
Kemp looked down at them and said, “Anyone who disobeys will be regarded as a traitor by me. Return to your posts immediately, or I will begin the purge of all of you.”
Kemp took off the five interspatial rings in his hand. The moment the rings fell to the ground, thousands of machines s.h.i.+mmering with magical energy appeared on the square, and all of the magical energy was instantly activated into combat mode.
In an instant, the magical machines charged at them.
Everyone’s faces turned pale.
They had never thought that Kemp, the great witch who was one of the Seven Elders, would actually attack them.
The third floor instantly fell into the purgatory of blood and fire.
“Now, seal the entire third floor. No one is allowed to enter or leave without permission!” Kemp walked toward the door expressionlessly. Half of his subordinates were killed, and the remaining half followed behind him, choosing to submit.
…
The fifth floor.
Su Han stepped through the huge door and entered the fifth floor. The first thing he saw was an incomparably huge s.p.a.ce.
He saw the use of s.p.a.ce here. Perhaps this place was not as big as it was now.
Above the s.p.a.ce, there were golden bubbles floating one after another. Each bubble had something floating within it. In fact, those were not bubbles, but something similar to a magic barrier.
“As expected of a strategic warehouse.”
Su Han walked forward and came to the nearest bubble. There was a crystal ball filled with cracks floating in front of him. The surface of the crystal ball was flowing with a thin light. It was obvious that it was not an ordinary object.
He reached out to touch it and immediately felt a light spreading out in the surroundings.
A dense text introduction appeared on it.
He didn’t recognize these words, but when he stretched out his hand to touch it, he immediately understood the meaning of the words.
Adeline’s Gaze.
Adeline, the legendary G.o.ddess who stood on the fate string. She weaves the fate of all the creatures in the entire world, leading this world in the right direction. It was rumored that her left eye could see the past, and her right eye could see the future. She was the first batch of G.o.ds born in this world.
“The gaze of the G.o.ddess of Fate?” Su Han pondered.
“Could it be that this crystal ball can see the past and the future?”
Su Han immediately opened his eye of laws and looked at the crystal ball. In an instant, his eyes bled and he took a few steps back.
“Time.” Su Han wiped the blood off his face and narrowed his eyes.
He saw the law of time on the crystal ball.
Time was a law that was above almost all laws. It was one of the basic laws that the world could operate.
This was the first time Su Han clearly saw the law wheel of time. In other words, this crystal ball might really have the function of peering into the past and the future!
He immediately began to crack the bubble. Ten minutes later, the bubble slowly dimmed.
Su Han stretched out his hand, and the crystal ball slowly fell into his hand.
“If I can really see the future…” Su Han narrowed his eyes and said, “Then let me see what my future looks like!”
