Chapter 469: Yuan Killer Sword, Premium Grade Innate Soul Weapon
Jiang He walked up and studied the many zombies curiously.
Each were bony-white, whatever flesh still sticking on it having rotted and their original appearance completely gone... not that Jiang He would recognize their original appearance anyway.
There were over a hundred Golden Immortals and thousands of True Immortals present when he attacked the legion of the Hundred Races Alliance. As he killed away, he had no time to even ask for their names.
“Interesting.”
Jiang He chuckled as he studied the corpses and said, “It really is interesting... most peoples of the Alliance are humanoid, and some of the non-humanoids would a.s.sume human form after cultivating to a certain level.”
“Could it be that, just as the novels put it... the human form has a stronger affinity to Dao?”
He extended a hand and tried to ‘pluck’ one of the zombies...
But considering that the zombies were rotting and dripping with blood, he promptly kicked out in revulsion.
Pow!
He kicked a zombie dozens of meters away.
[Ding!]
[+50 million Farm Points.]
A crisp System Notification jingled in his head.
In the next instant, the ‘skeleton’ that was kicked by Jiang He over dozens of meters away abruptly exploded with an overwhelming presence. Veins of immortal light flickered around him and his rotted flesh promptly faded, replaced by fresh blood and muscles. Then, in just a minute, the skeleton zombie that was unbelievably revolting turned into a middle-aged man with a blue s.h.i.+rt and an elegant appearance.
The middle-aged man kowtowed and loudly greeted, “My lord, Emperor Boundless of the Sky Demons.”
“Emperor?”
Jiang He asked curiously. “There are emperors among Sky Demons?”
The middle-aged man replied respectfully, “My lord, we Sky Demons are given the t.i.tle of Emperor once we cultivate up to Heavenly Immortal.”
He was now a Golden Immortal, who was equal in strength and aura to the Ten Thousand Swords Daoist... in fact, Emperor Boundless was not at this level before, but he was strengthened considerably after being planted.
Jiang He checked Emperor Boundless, and a cl.u.s.ter of data slowly appeared—
[Emperor Boundless]
[Race: Sky Demon]
[Cultivation: Full-Fledged Golden Immortal]
There was more detailed data as well, introducing the Dao and techniques that Emperor Boundless cultivated.
Jiang He turned away, not bothered to have another look as he went on.
[Ding!]
[+50 million Farm Points.]
[Ding!]
[+30 million Farm Points.]
[Ding...]
Soon, Jiang He had plucked all eighty Golden Immortal zombies, sixteen of which were full-fledged Golden Immortal, which earned Jiang He fifty million Farm Points.
The remaining sixty-four were all Golden Immortal-advanced, each earning him thirty million Farm Points.
It meant a total of 2.72 billion Farm Points.
Nonetheless, Jiang He frowned and appeared a little unhappy.
“Eighty Golden Immortals have only earned me this little Farm Points?” he muttered, though he was soon relieved...
“Still, this is good. The Farm Points aren’t that much, but eighty Golden Immortals are a strong fighting force. I have too few immortals under my command, and I don’t have to see to everything personally from now on.”
Jiang He carefully studied the eighty Golden Immortals’ strength...
The sixteen full-fledged Golden Immortals varied in ability.
Of them, six were already full-fledged Golden Immortals before they were planted. While they did not ascend to Grand Luo after they were planted, their strength increased by a major notch.
The remaining ten full-fledged Golden Immortals were Golden Immortal-advanced, and had only reached that level after they were planted.
Because of factors such as innate talents, bloodlines, and cultivation technique, there was a huge gap among them even if they were all full-fledged Golden Immortals—perhaps even greater than the gap between a full-fledged Golden Immortal and a Golden Immortal-novice.
Examples were Modolo of the Demon race and White Sky G.o.d King of the G.o.d race.
And right now...
“Eh?”
“That fellow seem quite powerful.”
Jiang He was looking at a five-meter tall Golden Immortal.
He had a burly frame, and did not have muscles or skin on his body, only stone...
Jiang He recalled vaguely that he was one of the two Golden Immortal Stoners... who was only next to Modolo and White Sky in power.
And after he was planted, he would not lose out to those two by match although he was not their equal yet.
‘I could arm him with some acquired soul treasure later, and he would be one of the best Golden Immortals across worlds...’ Jiang He thought, and then started plucking the other 360 True Immortals.
There were over a thousand True Immortals in the Alliance’s legion.
Jiang He had killed an untold number of them, however, and collected the 360 corpses that were more complete than the others, leaving the rest with w.a.n.g Hou and the Ten Thousand Swords Daoist.
Nonetheless, their relatively complete corpses were a sign that they were actually quite powerful. Most were full-fledged True Immortal, and only some were True Immortal-advanced. After being planted and strengthened, all 220 out of the 360 True Immortals ascended to Golden Immortal, while the remaining 140 ascended up to full-fledged True Immortal.
As the many immortals all dropped to their knees, Jiang He could not help feeling on top of the world.
“Three hundred Golden Immortals...”
“Some of the lesser races could not even gather so many Golden Immortals if they sent every last soldier they had...”
Jiang He could not help recalling the Sky Demons just then.
They were not that strong a race, but they were not that weak either, as they only had one Demi-Saint and around five Grand Luo... along with four hundred Golden Immortals altogether.
“The strongest individual of some lesser races would only have a single Grand Luo, too... doesn’t that mean I have the power to flatten the world of lesser races?”
Nonetheless, Jiang He quickly killed that thought.
He loved peace.
He would not provoke those lesser races on purpose if they did not provoke him.
“It’s alright, get up.”
Jiang He said flatly while looking at the many Golden Immortals and True Immortals.
He called Dumbo and Trumbo to him so that they would manage the immortals later... but soon realize that they were unreliable, and so had Hu Mei help instead.
With a nonchalant throw...
An immortal palace—an acquired soul treasure—landed at a corner of the farm, and Jiang He turned toward the Golden Immortals and True Immortals, saying, “All of you will cultivate in that palace if there’s nothing important. Dumbo, Trumbo, harvest a million immortal crystals and distribute it among them later so they can improve their ability as soon as possible.”
Having received their orders and realizing that they would be managing over three hundred Golden Immortals along with over a hundred True Immortals, they could not help feel the wind in their sails.
Rearing their heads and puffing their chest, even their walk seemed imposing.
At the same time, Jiang He looked at the spot where he had planted the soul treasure.
Right now, a plain and ordinary ancient sword was floating in the air.
Unlike before when the planted items shone with immortal light and exuded towering Sword Qi, nothing special happened when the sword was planted, and it instead felt perfectly ordinary.
Even so, Jiang He’s eyes lit up.
It was a soul treasure seed, after all!
And how could soul treasures be ordinary?
This sword must be extraordinary!
Jiang He walked up and reached out to grasp it.
[Ding!]
[+10 billion Farm Points.]
The System Notification that jingled beside his ear left Jiang He’s heard pounding!
“Ten billion Farm Points!”
“The superior-grade acquired soul treasure I planted before was just 50 million Farm Points... could this be an innate soul treasure?’
He looked at the sword, and a cl.u.s.ter of data appeared—
[Yuan Killer Sword]
[Grade: Premium-grade innate soul treasure]
[The finest weapon of death. A soul treasure once carried by the Nether River Patriarch, who is invincible as long as the Blood Sea is not destroyed, this sword is imbued with natural Fiend Qi origin from the primordial world. When the Asura race was born and earned heaven-sent merits, it was all absorbed by the two greatest treasures of death: Yuan Killer and Infinite Pain. Therefore, karma is not affected when these swords are used for the slaughter.]
Jiang He was stunned.
He s.p.a.ced out for over a dozen seconds before regaining his senses.
He seriously read the information about the sword again, before the millions of words in his mind was condensed into three words...
“What the h.e.l.l!”
