Chapter 899: The Parents Meet
Quan Zexi’s heart trembled, “That was fast.”
Qiao Qing eyed the time on her wrist.w.a.tch and got up, “It’s about time. Let’s go.”
Quan Zexi reacted like his bottom was glued to the couch as he struggled to get up.

Qi Chengyu pulled her in for a hug the moment her voice confirmed her ident.i.ty, “I’ve missed you to death.”
Qi Yusen and Jun Yexuan walked over with their faces dark.
Qi Yusen’s tone was unwelcoming, “Why are you here?”
Qi Chengyu didn’t let go of Qiao Qing as he tried to provoke Qi Yusen, “You’re the only person who’s allowed to come here? You and this man over here have been more than possessive towards my little sister. Don’t be the greedy snake who tries to eat an entire elephant.”
Jun Yexuan, “…”
Qi Yusen challenged, “But your job…”
“Don’t you worry about my job,” Qi Chengyu said, “Just mind yourself.”
Qiao Qing was in a bit of pain from the hug and she frowned.
Jun Yexuan finally exploded, “Can’t you tell she’s in pain?! Let her go!!”
Qi Chengyu didn’t have the time to mind Jun Yexuan’s tone. He loosened his grip after seeing the look on Qiao Qing’s face, “Sorry, I got too excited.”
He pulled his luggage forward and said to Qiao Qing, “Here are all the gifts I brought you. Qingqing, do you want to see?”

She signaled to Quan Zexi and He Wanqing.
Qi Chengyu nodded and stood aside.
By the time He Wanqing calmed down, Quan Zexi’s s.h.i.+rt was soaked.
He Wanqing wiped the tears off her face and raised her head, “I will only ask you one question, do you really not recognize me and your daughter?”
