Chapter 1792 - 1792 Old Liang Family Residence, Du Zhong's Horror
1792 Old Liang Family Residence, Du Zhong’s Horror
Du Zhong’s words made Fang Yu, Lu Ningwen and Director Huang look at each other in dismay. For a moment, they were really worried that Zhou Chengfei had fallen into the well. That would be too unlucky.
Director Huang was even more worried; if something happened to Zhou Chengfei, the production team wouldn’t be able to bear the consequences. He couldn’t wait to immediately take the young men to the well in the outermost courtyard to look for Zhou Chengfei.
There were actually lanterns hanging in and outside the old Liang family residence, so the path was still visible, but the young men thought it wasn’t bright enough, so they turned on the flashlights on their phones and went straight to the outer courtyard, shouting Zhou Chengfei’s name as they walked.
Unfortunately, there was no reply. Director Huang was even more worried. They found the outermost courtyard and saw the well. Everyone called Zhou Chengfei’s name again, but unfortunately, Zhou Chengfei never replied.
That really scared everyone.
!!Fang Yu couldn’t help but say, “Why don’t we go take a look at the well? Maybe Brother Chengfei fell into the well?”
Lu Ningwen replied, “That’s possible!”
Director Huang was a little nervous because he didn’t know how deep the well was at all. He had been worried about something happening to Zhou Chengfei before, and now, he was even more worried that Zhou Chengfei might have fallen to his death in the well.
The others were as worried as Director Huang. For a moment, no one dared to look into the well, for fear of seeing Zhou Chengfei’s body.
Du Zhong was brave, but he was also afraid of death. He couldn’t help but retreat. “Why don’t we go back first? Maybe Chengfei has already returned to his room to rest? We might be able to see him in the morning!”
Unfortunately, no one agreed with him. In the end, it was Lu Ningwen who took the initiative to go to the well to take a look. When Lu Ningwen spoke up, Director w.a.n.g hurriedly agreed, afraid that he would go back on his word.
Fang Yu frowned. He felt that Director Huang and Du Zhong were bullying an honest person. At his age, he was impulsive and hot-blooded. He couldn’t stand it, so he simply said that he would go to the well with Lu Ningwen to take a look.
At Fang Yu’s words, Lu Ningwen heaved a sigh of relief and became a little braver. The two boys hurriedly went to look into the well. Director Huang was afraid that they would also accidentally fall in, so he hurriedly instructed, “You two boys be careful too. Don’t fall in!”
“Got it!”
The two boys walked to the well. Because it was night, it was dark inside the well, and they couldn’t see anything. Fang Yu and Lu Ningwen shone the flashlights on their phones inside. In the light, they really did see a figure move at the bottom, but they couldn’t clearly make it out.
But Lu Ningwen and Fang Yu didn’t think much of it. They thought that it was Zhou Chengfei in the well, and seeing that ‘Zhou Chengfei’ could still move, he should be fine.
The two young men were excited and immediately shouted at Director Huang and Du Zhong, “Brother Chengfei seems to be in the well. We can see him moving.”
With that, they turned around and hurriedly shouted down the well, “Brother Chengfei, did you accidentally fall into the well? Say something? We’ll pull you up soon!”
When Director Huang heard what the two boys said, he was so agitated he almost cried. He didn’t expect Zhou Chengfei to really fall into the well, and he immediately pulled Du Zhong over.
Du Zhong was a bit puzzled and couldn’t help but say, “Fang Yu and Ningwen shouted so many times down the well; why didn’t Brother Chengfei respond?”
Thinking about it, Du Zhong agreed. Director Huang wanted Du Zhong to go back and find a rope to pull Zhou Chengfei up, but Du Zhong said that he didn’t know where to find a thick rope, so Director Huang could only go back himself.
Du Zhong didn’t want to wait here in a daze, so he deliberately said, “Director Huang, why don’t I go back with you to find a rope? In any case, Ningwen and Fang Yu are here. Just waiting around here won’t help. I might as well go with you to find a rope.”
After thinking about it, Director Huang nodded in agreement. Before the two left, he told Fang Yu and Lu Ningwen about going to look for a rope.
The two didn’t think much of it and had Director Huang and Du Zhong hurry back to find a rope.
“Wait, why does it look like Brother Chengfei is climbing up on his own?” In the light of his phone, Lu Ningwen vaguely saw a black figure climbing up the well. However, the well was a little deep for the flashlight on his phone to illuminate clearly.
As soon as Fang Yu heard Lu Ningwen’s words, he immediately looked at the bottom of the well and really saw something climbing up. Fang Yu didn’t think much of it and thought it was Zhou Chengfei. Seeing this, he cheered up. “Brother Chengfei should be fine. Otherwise, how can he climb up on his own?”
Fang Yu’s words excited Director Huang. He and Du Zhong immediately walked to the well and looked inside. Sure enough, they saw a figure climbing up. The two didn’t think much of it and were quite excited. Director Huang was so excited that he was about to cry. He said firmly, “It must be Chengfei, it must be Chengfei. He’s fine. That’s great, that’s great. Wait, the wall of this well is a little steep. Chengfei won’t fall down again, right?”
Director Huang was so anxious that he couldn’t be bothered to go back and find a rope. He hurriedly tugged at Du Zhong and had him look around for any vines to let down for Zhou Chengfei.
Du Zhong nodded in agreement. Before he went to find a vine, he looked into the well again and felt that Zhou Chengfei, this rascal, was really lucky. It was fine if he fell into the well, but he could climb out himself?
What if he deliberately brought this up during filming tomorrow to steal the limelight?
Du Zhong wasn’t very happy. Seeing how ‘Zhou Chengfei’ was already halfway up the well, who knew if Du Zhong was mistaken, but he felt that ‘Zhou Chengfei’ was too nimble. The more he climbed, the faster he became. He didn’t look human. Wait, he didn’t look human at all?
Alarmed, Du Zhong looked inside the well again. Although he still couldn’t see ‘Zhou Chengfei’ clearly, there was just enough light from his phone to show that the figure indeed was that of a person. Du Zhong heaved a sigh of relief and was about to look away, when he saw under the figure densely packed tentacles which stuck to the wall of the wall and climbed up bit by bit.
What the h.e.l.l was that?
Du Zhongjing’s vision turned black and he sucked in a cold breath of air. He staggered back a few steps and gasped for breath. Dense cold air swept up through the soles of his feet as his entire body and heart turned cold. His palms and back were immediately covered in a dense cold sweat. If it really was Zhou Chengfei in the well, where did he get so many tentacles?
The others didn’t notice Du Zhong’s strange behavior. At that moment, Fang Yu immediately stretched his hand into the well and shouted, “Brother Chengfei, careful. Come up and grab my hand!”
