Chapter 1832 - 1832 Old Liang Family Residence, Fang Yu In Trouble (1)

1832 Old Liang Family Residence, Fang Yu In Trouble (1)

Hearing that something might have happened to Fang Yu and Lu Ningwen, Qi Hao’s scalp turned numb and his face changed drastically. “Sister-in-law, what did you say? Did I hear wrongly? What on earth happened to Brother Fang and Brother Lu?”

Chi Shuyan didn’t have time to waste on this kid at that moment. She patted his shoulder and motioned for him to hurry up and follow her.

Chi Shuyan rushed back without worrying that Haozi wouldn’t be able to keep up. Looking at how this kid stuck to her today, he should be able to keep pace.

It wasn’t long before the two arrived at the building they were staying in. It was dark and very quiet all around, and the silence was a little strange. The windows on the building suddenly looked like the black mouths of ferocious beasts which could swallow people at a glance, which was very unsettling.

The branches around them rustled in the wind, and there were strange creaking sounds from time to time, which made one’s hair stand on end.

Before the two could go upstairs, a strong smell of blood wafted over. Chi Shuyan, whose senses had always been sharp, frowned when she smelled it, and she immediately went upstairs.

Qi Hao followed his sister-in-law with a stupefied expression. When he followed her up to the second floor, there was no hiding the smell of blood on the third floor. He also saw faint traces of blood on the stairs, and a large pool of blood at the bottom. The thick smell of blood a.s.saulted him, making Qi Hao want to retch.

Qi Hao recalled what his sister-in-law had said about Fang Yu and Lu Ningwen, and his face changed drastically. He said, “Sister-in-law, did something happen to Fang Yu and Lu Ningwen?”

Chi Shuyan’s face was solemn. “It’s hard to say. Let’s go upstairs first!”

Soon, the two arrived at Fang Yu and Lu Ningwen’s room on the third floor. The door was wide open, and it looked like the place had been ransacked. The thick smell of blood wafted over again.

There were some signs of a fight, and there was blood everywhere in the room. Chi Shuyan’s face grew uglier, and so did Qi Hao’s. His heart thumped and his throat tightened with fear at the thought that something really had happened to Lu Ningwen and Fang Yu.

Without waiting for Qi Hao to speak, Chi Shuyan said, “Let’s go take a look at the other rooms.”

Qi Hao followed his sister-in-law to search the place, and they found Lu Wenjing’s wretchedly broken body in Song Yanru’s room, and Du Zhong’s body in his room.

Lu Wenjing had died tragically in Song Yanru’s bathroom, while Du Zhong had died in bed. He was naked and had been dismembered; the entire bed was practically soaked in bright red blood.

His head remained askew on the pillow. He had died with his eyes open and with remaining grievances; it was as if he was looking at the two of them. Chi Shuyan was fine, but Qi Hao was so scared that he sucked in his breath and his whole body turned cold. He couldn’t help but take a few steps back. “Sister-in-law, what the h.e.l.l is going on?” Why did something happen to everyone after only a short while?

Obviously, Chi Shuyan didn’t think that Du Zhong and Lu Wenjing’s deaths were due to any other reason but a human act – she could roughly guess the cause of Lu Wenjing and Du Zhong’s deaths. Who else could it be other than Song Yanru?

As for Song Yanru suddenly attacking the others, it was most likely related to the clue she had obtained. Who knew what it was, which caused her to want everyone to die. Wait, everyone?

A guess flashed through Chi Shuyan’s mind, but she quickly threw it to the back of her head for now. “Haozi, let’s go take a look elsewhere. It’s best if we find Fang Yu and Lu Ningwen as soon as possible.”

Otherwise, it wouldn’t be long before the two of them died.

“Sister-in-law, right, didn’t you give Fang Yu and Lu Ningwen two Tracking Talismans? Can’t we use that to find out where they are?” Qi Hao’s scalp turned numb as he hurriedly asked the question.

“This place is too dark and strange… Let me try!” In fact, when she had read Lu Ningwen and Fang Yu’s fortunes before, she had sensed a trace of resistance. There had always been a black mist trying to deceive the heavenly secrets she wanted to see, including now.

After a while, Chi Shuyan said, “Let’s go. Fang Yu is still in their room. We’ll go and find him first.”

When Qi Hao heard his sister-in-law’s words, he hurriedly followed her. This time, the two found Fang Yu in a small closet in the room.

At that moment, Fang Yu was covered in blood and his face was deathly pale. He, a big man, looked pitiful and dazed as he curled up in the small closet, twitching and covered in a cold sweat. He felt a little claustrophobic, and his breathing was a bit weak.

If they had come a little later, Fang Yu would have died in this closet.

Qi Hao jumped in fright when he saw Fang Yu’s tragic state and hurriedly carried him out. When he did so, Qi Hao realized that Fang Yu was missing an arm. There was blood all over the inside of the closet, and he was wet as if he had just been fished out of water. Qi Hao’s face changed drastically and his lips trembled non-stop as he looked at his sister-in-law. “Sister-in-law!”

Seeing Fang Yu’s tragic state, Chi Shuyan wordlessly injected a trace of spiritual energy and vitality into his body.

Not long after, Fang Yu’s breathing stabilized and he quickly woke up. When he woke up, he was still immersed in fear and screamed non-stop.

Qi Hao didn’t know what had provoked Fang Yu before, but when he woke up, he screamed and struggled like crazy. Qi Hao steadied himself and hurriedly said, “Fang Yu, Fang Yu, it’s Brother Qi, it’s Haozi.” Seeing that Fang Yu was still screaming, Qi Hao could only look at his sister-in-law.

“Slap him.”

Qi Hao’s hand trembled, but he didn’t hesitate to slap Fang Yu.

Only then did Fang Yu come back to his senses.

Fang Yu finally recognized the other two, and he burst into tears, as if he had come back to life. His face was filled with fear as he cried and shouted hoa.r.s.ely, “Monster! Monster! There’s a monster here!”

Without waiting for Chi Shuyan and Qi Hao to speak, Fang Yu had a thought and suddenly tugged at them with shaky hands as he pleaded incoherently, “I beg you, save Ningwen. Song Yanru wants to kill him, and the monster… it… it went after them.”
