Chairman w.a.n.g pondered briefly and took Huo Yao’s pulse again. After some time, he finally pulled his hand back.

Chairman w.a.n.g’s a.s.sistant was waiting in the lobby. When the a.s.sistant saw his boss, he put away his phone and went towards him.

“Are you done already?” asked a.s.sistant w.a.n.g in surprise.

He knew the chairman was here to examine a patient but he did not know it was Huo Yao.

Chairman w.a.n.g nodded. He walked off quickly with his hands behind him. “Let’s go back to the a.s.sociation.”

a.s.sistant w.a.n.g quickly followed behind the chairman. As he walked, he said, “Oh yes. Mr. Mi is back.”

Chairman w.a.n.g instantly halted in his steps and raised his head to look at a.s.sistant w.a.n.g. “Didn’t you tell him to stay away from the a.s.sociation for the time being?”

“I have been trying to contact him, but I could not get him on the phone. I also tried sending him a text message but he did not reply to me,” explained a.s.sistant w.a.n.g.

Chairman w.a.n.g pressed his brow and looked exhausted. “Where is he?”

“He said he’ll get to the Apothecaries’ a.s.sociation in a minute,” replied a.s.sistant w.a.n.g.

Chairman w.a.n.g narrowed his eyes thinking about what Deputy Chairman Qin wanted to do. He said, “Call him now and tell him to meet us at the teahouse near the a.s.sociation.”

“Got it.” a.s.sistant w.a.n.g nodded as he took out his phone and made a call.

After hanging up the phone, a.s.sistant w.a.n.g looked at Chairman w.a.n.g and said, “It’s done.”

Chairman w.a.n.g acknowledged softly.

20 minutes later, they arrived at the teahouse.

When they asked the tea house waitress, she informed him there was no guest called Mi Wei at the tea house.

Chairman w.a.n.g frowned. “Did he say he was already near the a.s.sociation when you called previously?”
