The angel instantly drew a sword from its waist that was as tall as a grown man.

It became apparent that the two-winged angel was very proficient in swordplay as well.

It was painstakingly nurtured back in heaven, but now it finally got serious in the fight.

That ma.s.sive and heavy sword was swung about by that angel as if it weighed nothing.

It was able to turn that casual swing into something like a field or a barrier around it, repelling that golden dragon from Lu Xuan through sheer brute force.

That punch from Lu Xuan landed squarely on the armor in front of the angel’s chest.

Unlike the pope who had been so fragile that he was unable to take even a single hit and was utterly unable to fight Lu Xuan, the angel was still able to hold its own.

That angel was completely angered by then, continuously bursting with terrifying holy light all over him.

Everyone suddenly realized that the ground of the Vatican itself began to shake slightly.

“What’s happening? An earthquake?”

The aura around the angel continued to rise and expand from its being.

The form of that angel became increasingly clear, slowly becoming more similar to the two-winged angel until they were eventually identical to one another.

“Perish, mortal!” The two-winged angel shouted furiously. The angel that was conjured by pure energy above its head began charging at Lu Xuan and loomed over him like a mountain.

The people throughout the entire Vatican City felt as if a mountain was coming down on them all.

It felt as if the sky was collapsing upon them, soon to crush them alive.

That feeling made everyone feel as if it became harder to breathe.
