w.a.n.g Teng took up where the other left off, “So, if they ever learned that the body of one of their own was used by a dark apparition, they will surely kick up a fuss and might even ask for the body back; they would never allow it to land in other people’s hands.”

“That’s right.” Bai Shanhou nodded, giving the young man a look of approval.

It was easy talking to a smart person.

“Sounds troublesome.” w.a.n.g Teng frowned. “I beat the c.r.a.p out of this body real bad. Will they find me?”

“Based on their personality, maybe.” Bai Shanhou gloated.

“Seriously? Come on, I s.n.a.t.c.hed the body back on their behalf.” w.a.n.g Teng felt wronged.

“They are a proud race. It’s likely they won’t take it as a favor.” Bai Shanhou shook his head.

“This doesn’t make sense.” w.a.n.g Teng felt at a loss.

He defeated Devil Emperor Bare Brain only to be potentially blamed by the Solar Dragon Race. What gives?

“This counts as a war spoil. Dare to take it?” The senior smiled.

“A war spoil?” w.a.n.g Teng was stunned. “I didn’t defeat No Brain by myself. General Cameron made the most contribution, and the robot trio you lent me also helped. I would only be reaping the fruit of your labor.”

He knew his own ability. Had the general not tired the powerful apparition, and the three robots not helped with stalling tactics, he wouldn’t have been able to be a match.

Considering their speed, they quickly arrived above a mountain. There was a huge mess below, explosions echoing in the air.

An endless amount of martial warriors stained the battlefield with their blood. They risked their lives to slaughter all the dark apparitions.

By looking around, one could see there weren’t many dark apparitions left; even some mid-tier devil emperors had died.

General Kimberly and the others were surrounding the remaining mid-tier devil emperors. Xuelun and Jefred were around them.

General Cameron took a deep breath and shouted to the people below, “Everyone, Devil Emperor Bare Brain is dead!”

“What?”

Xuelun and Jefred were appalled by the news; disbelieving, unwilling to accept the truth.

Even Devil Emperor Bare Brain was defeated!

Their last hope of turning the tide was for the Devil Emperor to win.

However, their last ounce of hope was extinguished.

The devil emperors felt utter despair. Thoughts of escaping crossed their minds, no longer having the drive to continue fighting.

They had yet to give up before this, even though they were at a disadvantage. However, they knew they had no chance of winning now since all their efforts would go down the drain.

It was a lost cause!

On the other hand, the human martial warriors were elated. They started shouting.

General Qi Yuanju and the others felt more confident when they saw General Cameron and w.a.n.g Teng arrive. They shouted at the martial warriors around them, “Soldiers, victory is ours. Follow me and kill!”

“Kill!”

Numerous martial warriors shouted. The morale of the army rose to unprecedented heights. They roared as they charged towards the dark apparitions and ma.s.sacred the lot.

“Roar!”

The dark apparitions were terrified. Then, a single dark apparition broke down and turned to escape.

Fear was contagious. Other apparitions lost their will to fight and started running away.

The scale tilted heavily to one side.
