No one expected it yet, but those from the Neo-Dawn Starfield who had recently adjusted to the oversight, rules, and laws of the Ascendants felt that this was extremely good news.

Xue Yifei had taken a forefront approach to a.s.sisting many in their settling and acclimation within the Neo-Dawn Starfield's dual layers. She was helpful, present, patient, strong-willed, fair, and of course, outrageously gorgeous with boundless imperialistic charm. She befitted the t.i.tle of Empress, often considered no less inferior to Empress Xiaocheng of the Aeternal Sky Starfield's Imperial Clan. The only blemish was her status as a concubine, and while many openly ignored it and referred to her as 'Her Royal Majesty', the truth was that her status and position weren't cemented by any official capacity.

Only when that announcement that shook the world was shown did the citizens of the Neo-Dawn Starfield feel comforted knowing that the Empress in their hearts was given her rightful dues. Some had even developed animosity for Wei Wuyin for his decision to take such a capable, beautifully intelligent woman with astonis.h.i.+ng talent as a mere concubine. These individuals had, in some capacity or another, interacted with Xue Yifei for various reasons.

However, these hyped discussions promoting the bright future of the Neo-Dawn Starfield were abruptly halted by the raging flood of fluctuations. The experts throughout the Neo-Dawn Starfield went into position, those Array Masters and Formation Masters acted all sorts of miraculous planetary arrays.

These arrays all interconnected exquisitely, guarding the entire Neo-Dawn Starfield's Defiant Dawn from the outpouring fluctuations, quelling any that were formulating within its borders, and dispersing them naturally and easily. Within the briefest of moments, the entirety of Defiant Dawn was s.h.i.+elded by a crystalline bubble exuding an extremely refined spatial aura.

Meanwhile, World Dawn's numerous realms were s.h.i.+elded as well, the reach of its arrays went farther than the Defiant Dawn's but was no less inferior, quelling all signs of invasive spatial fluctuations. As they did so, tiny, human-sized silvery light throughout the eighteen regions began to rapidly quiver and distort, and then like lightning, these areas transformed into condensed silvery light and jetted towards the Neo-Dawn Starfield from every direction. The speed of each ray of silvery light was faster than the Spatial s.h.i.+fting of an Earthly Saint and utterly unstoppable.

A few experts of the Grand Cyclic Stellar Region tried to reach out to seize these lights. Unfortunately, some lost their hands while others were blasted into bits from the intense spatial energy within. Some of these experts were at the Soul of Mysticism Phase. This sighting instilled great fear as these silvery rays of light were avoided as if they were the plague.

"The Ascendant Recall Array?" Wu Yu was startled. He cautiously eyed the Defiant Dawn's glistening arrays formed from countless formations. Who activated this formation? The Ascendant Recall Array was designed to be used only in extreme circ.u.mstances. It was attuned to each Mark of Ascendant out there, and when it was activated, it resonated and executed an extremely long-range Spatial Art that brought every Ascendant back by force. Only Prime Ascendants could refuse.

There were only four people that he knew that could activate this formation. Besides himself, there was Su Mei, Xue Yifei, and obviously Wei Wuyin. What bothered him wasn't that it was activated, but why it needed to be activated. The Chosen King Compet.i.tion typically ended and sent all the Chosen back in a cl.u.s.ter. Wei Wuyin and Xue Yifei exited out of the void. Both were in their Draconic Transformation forms, looking like a destined pair of hybrid lovers no less inferior to the mythological immortal warrior and immortal fairy.

Wei Wuyin's silver eyes and Xue Yifei's hazel eyes focused on the bubble-like barrier and the flood of silvery radiance and spatial fluctuations it blocked. Wu Yu quietly observed the two, his aura receding at lightning speeds, his spine was upright and firm, while his heart raced slightly. He felt a terrifying power within Wei Wuyin's torrentially tyrannical bloodline aura. Just standing near caused his own bloodline to be stimulated.

"Will this ruin any of your plans?" Xue Yifei asked softly.

Wei Wuyin shook his head. The Ascendant Recall Array was activated by Xue Yifei. She also sent them all into the private training realm of the Ascendants, likely already having arrangements made to settle them in and enter secluded cultivation to consolidate their gains and profound insight gathered during the Neo-Dawn Starfield.

This was, however, pre-prepared. She didn't want the Ascendants to embroil themselves in the petty conflict for treasure from opportunistic idiots or cause any of the Ascendants to lose this premium period to gain the most. Her actions were well-intended with great foresight. Moreover, she couldn't have predicted this, and she had no time to react and prevent it. The act of making their way back to the Neo-Dawn Starfield from the various eighteen regions could have been a training experience.

"Wu Yu," Wei Wuyin called out.

"Yes, Young Lord?" Wu Yu was the only one amongst the Neo-Dawn Starfield who still referred to Wei Wuyin by such an outdated t.i.tle. However, due to his cultivation path, referring to someone as 'your Royal Majesty' with earnestness could cause cultivation deviation. Wei Wuyin had no issue with this either.

Wei Wuyin waved his hand, formulating three sparkling marbles, each of a different color, exuding a different aura out of his Alchemic Eden Starforce. He tossed the three marbles to Wu Yu, "Find these three. Bring them back alive. Take six Earthly Saints with you."

Wu Yu caught the marbles, scanned the auras contained within, and nodded without needing any further orders. He immediately shot off, sending spiritual transmissions to six others. Instantly, six other auras which included Pope Huoyan of the Scarlet Solaris Church, Hai Shuilin of the Great Blue Starfield's Ninth Lineage Royalty, and four others. Without hesitation, they left the bubble-like barrier and became streaks of radiant light.

Xue Yifei's eyes glistened as she witnessed that degree of commanding, unquestionable authority. The Grand Knight of Neo-Dawn truly deserved his position. In fact, as she looked at Wei Wuyin's dignified side profile, an urge to-

Before she could even think further, her lips were taken as Wei Wuyin kissed her. It was sudden. It was welcomed. Within moments, Xue Yifei felt as if she was in a world of dreams, yet she didn't back down as she kissed back. The two fiercely battled with their lips locked. His hands roamed wildly, touching extremely sensitive areas that elicited soft, sensual moans that traveled from one throat to the other.

It was only after a long, long moment that Xue Yifei finally admitted defeat, her body tingling, and an unbearable urge was itching at her heart. If she continued, there would be no stopping her.

When she looked at Wei Wuyin, she saw within those enchanting silver eyes the urge to devour her entirely alongside a pa.s.sionate expression on his unearthly, heart-pounding visage. The feeling was...unimaginably pleasing to the soul, mind, and body.

She whispered in a voice resembling a mosquito's buzz: "Do you want to?" Her alluring voice and cotton soft-like body covered in flexible scales leaning into Wei Wuyin was boundlessly inviting and utterly irresistible. It only caused her to yelp as she felt something touch a region that was only meant for Wei Wuyin to enter. Her heart pounded fiercely as she bit her lower lip.

Wei Wuyin's eyes glowed a dangerous light. From below, she could feel something even more dangerous.

"Oh!" Xue Yifei immediately realized what might be happening. She hurriedly dispelled her Draconic Transformation. As she did, she simultaneously suppressed her Bloodline Aura.

Wei Wuyin's eyes slowly dimmed as a wave of clarity immediately flooded his gaze. Despite that, that dangerous area below wasn't receding in the slightest.

"Are...you okay?" Xue Yifei asked, using her spiritual strength to amplify her voice and a.s.sist by reaching the edges of Wei Wuyin's Sea of Consciousness. She didn't want this moment of theirs to only be the result of bloodline instincts and primal emotions. While unleas.h.i.+ng it a little was fine, not in the early stages of their newfound relations.h.i.+p.

Wei Wuyin faintly smiled, saying: "Interesting. Do you think you don't have enough appeal? I think you have a lot!" Xue Yifei realized from his sly and teasing expression that Wei Wuyin hadn't lost himself at all. She blushed slightly.

"I thought it was my transformation that was stimulating you..." Xue Yifei pouted.

Wei Wuyin laughed. The cultivation path he embarked towards wasn't so fragile that he would lose himself to his bloodline instincts. He hadn't lost himself when he entered the Four Extreme Continent and felt the dreadful agony and desperate presence of those countless beasts of the dragon lineage and neither would he now. That said, Xue Yifei's Draconic Transformation form was extremely arousing, from the contours of her body to the color of her scales, so he simply couldn't resist, especially those lips of hers.

"Do you want to continue?" Wei Wuyin teased. He double-checked to make sure that he had properly projected his concealment shroud prior. He didn't want anyone to witness his intimate moments with Xue Yifei or disparage her image in the eyes of her citizens.

"I do," Xue Yifei didn't step back at all. She was the future Empress of the Neo-Dawn Starfield. How could she ever retreat here? Her eyes became soft as water and her body leaned entirely into Wei Wuyin as if she wanted to melt into him. Her hand gently grabbed onto that dominating, untamable monster that once completely defeated seven fierce warriors on a satin battlefield.

Wei Wuyin's eyes illuminated intensely, reflecting Xue Yifei's enchanting countenance that seemed to be pleading for him to continue. While certain things shouldn't be done due to the precious value of an intact natural Primal Yin towards cultivation, there were countless other things they could do. Looking at her full, succulent, and beckoning lips, a few things had already come to mind.

Pop. A strange sound erupted throughout the world. A sound that Wei Wuyin was extremely familiar with.

Suddenly, throughout the eighteen regions, excluding the Neo-Dawn Starfield, countless cultivators began to appear sporadically and randomly. They were of various races, from humans, to t.i.tans, and celestials.

"They're here," Wei Wuyin frowned slightly.

Xue Yifei turned her gaze to beyond the barrier. "The descent of the World Between the Fold..."

All across the eighteen stellar regions, within a long-since abandoned Stellar Region that now belonged to strange creatures of the Dark Void and desperate criminals seeking escape and refuge from pursuers, a silver-robed figure flashed into existence from a burst of silvery light.

After adjusting themselves in the Dark Void, they observed the boundless starry light in the distance. After some mental calculations, their eyes were lit with realization. "I'm in the Yellow Haven Stellar Region? Wait, what's that new star? It's huge. And it's not the Aeternal Sky Star..." Their voice contained a complete lack of emotion, almost as if they were devoid of feeling anything in their heart and soul. It was extremely discomforting to hear.

From their wrist, bright blue spiritual light surged from a white bracelet created using spiritual jade. It was a transmission message! And it said: "Liu Suyin, come to the Twin Beacon Stellar Region immediately."

Liu Suyin gazed at the new star, her utterly emotionless expression shattered slightly as faint tears rolled down from her wet eyes inexplicably and unexpectedly. Touching her cheek and the falling tear, she was unable to understand what was happening. However, she promptly replied as she wiped away her tears: "Yes, Sect Master."

She vanished amidst a flourish of silvery spatial light.
