Yan Jinyi pushed the door and entered, only to see Zhao Xinchen lying on the hospital bed.

He was leaning on the edge of the bed with an arm in a cast and his hair all messed up. He seemed haggard and disheveled too.

There was a middle-aged man standing beside him with a doc.u.ment in hand and reading something in a robotic voice. When he saw Yan Jinyi approaching, the middle-aged man was obviously displeased.

“Sister Jinyi, you’re here. Please take a seat,” Zhao Xinchen said, pointing to the sofa.

As soon as Yan Jinyi sat down, Zhao Xinchen immediately stopped smiling and glared at the middle-aged man in annoyance. “Continue.”
