Francessca found this all amusing so she said: "Demon Queen Kana is a fun person to be with. But do not anger her. She has the ability to make one disappear without a trace."

"Demon Queen Kana?" The guests in the inn were all confused. "Then who is Demon Queen Lilly?"

"Did someone dare to call themselves a demon queen when the real demon queen was out of the palace!?" Kana had no idea what was going on but everyone seemed to be getting riled up. She looked at them with a curious gaze as she munched on her meat. Even Francessca felt like something was off.

"d.a.m.n them! How dare someone pose as our Demon Queen! Everyone spread the word some b.i.t.c.h is daring to pa.s.s themselves off as our Demon Queen Kana!" Many guests stood up and ran out of the inn. A few others went to sit next to Kana to try to console her. "Demon Queen Kana, do not worry, we will make sure that b.a.s.t.a.r.d is not let off."

 "Hmmm?" Kana had a mouth full of meat as she looked at the young woman next to her. "Okay? But I am not the Demon Queen…. I said this many times already…."

"Haha! We know! We KNOW! You are not the Demon Queen. *Wink!

* *Wink!*" The young woman gave a knowing smile as she winked a few times.

"Why are you winking!? I am not the Demon Queen!" Kana really did not know what to do with these people. They just kept calling her demon queen, this demon queen that. She looked over to see Francessca turning her head and covering her face. It was obvious she was laughing away! Her shoulders were shaking like crazy! It was a dead giveaway!

The whole room burst out laughing. To have a Demon Queen like this seemed to ease their minds. It calmed the anger within them, and they were really enjoying life at this moment. This Demon Queen was not like the others who held themselves up high but was sitting in the same room with them, enjoying life with them.

No one noticed, but the evil energy in the air began to dissipate. Kana's presence was doing more for these people than she would ever know. She looked at them all and saw that they were having fun and sighed. She decided to just forget it and enjoy her meat.

Word spread fast in this realm. Almost immediately, news that the one calling themselves Demon Queen Lilly was nothing more than an imposter reached the palace. Of course, things were embellished beyond belief. When it finally reached the ears of the palace guards, the story became: Demon Queen Lilly was nothing more than a foot was.h.i.+ng made who was told to clean up the mess after the real Demon Queen, Demon Queen Kana, went out to inspect the realm and was bringing happiness to the people of the land. She was not only very powerful but also very beautiful. She was a demon G.o.ddess who had fallen from the clouds above to save their realm.

Just the idea that the realm could be saved won the hearts of the people of the realm. And quickly the name Demon Queen Kana had spread quickly. Many began to travel to the Demon Queens Palace to tear down the imposter as soon as possible and redo the palace to be a place befitting their new ruler.

With in the palace, Demon Queen Lilly sat on her throne feeling very full of herself. She looked at the maid, one of which she was using as a footrest, and remembered the days these girls had picked on her. Now, they did not even dare look her in the eye. They all felt fear just seeing her.

She popped a grape in her mouth and gave a smug smile as she reached out for another grape, only to feel a sharp pain in her hand. She looked up to see a guard standing there with his sword drawn. Said sword was not sticking through her hand. "You! How dare you!"

"Oh? Really? How dare I? You fake! Die!" The guard roared as he with drew his sword and slashed out again.

 Demon Queen Lilly quickly dodged and rolled out of the way. There was no way she could defeat a guard! She was not strong in the slightest! She could only grit her teeth and yell out in an authoritative tone: "DO you know what you are doing!? If you stop now and kneel to me, I will let you off!"

"Hahaha! You think I would care what you say!? Our true Demon Queen is out inspecting the lands, bringing happiness to this realm while you are here ordering the servants to be your tools. In this world, only the strong are respected, and you can't even hold a candle to our Demon Queen Kana!" The guard yelled out.

Demon Queen Lilly did not understand what was going on. She did not know where this Demon Queen Kana had come from. She kept dodging the guard's sword by the skin of her teeth while yelling out: "Who are you talking about!? Who is this imposter Demon Queen Kana!?"

 "You do not need to worry about that since you are dead." Another voice came from behind her. Demon Queen Lilly turned to see a group of average citizens standing behind her with swords drawn. She did not understand what was going on. She did not know where this Demon Queen Kana came from who could move an entire realm without even showing her face in the palace. It made no sense. Was her reign as Demon Queen going to end within only a few hours after it started!?

Sadly, she did not get an answer to her question. Multiple swords were run through her, ending her life without so much as a goodbye. She had only wanted to live a life without fear, but now it seemed she was outdone before she got a chance to enjoy the fruits of her labor.

"Toss her I a ditch someplace!" Someone yelled out.

"No! We can not do that. Demon Queen Kana is kind. She would not do that. Give her a proper burial!" Another yelled out. At these words, everyone nodded their heads. Even the first person who yelled out blushed and nodded as well.

Soon, the entire realm seemed to take a drastic turn. Even with out Kana being there, new laws were pa.s.sed down to stop heinous crimes. Reforms were put into place to make the realm a place where people could be happy. All of this was done in the image of their new Demon Queen…. No, their new Demon G.o.ddess, Kana!
