Nia blushed as she quickly looked away. "I have no idea what you are talking about." Her big sister image was being ruined by this d.a.m.n bug!

"No, you do! How can you not remember!? You used to say, Soti, how would you fly if you had no wings and then you would tug on them! If not for Master stopping you time and time again, I would have had my wings pulled off!" Soti puffed out her cheeks. She was not going to let this go!

"I…." Nia's guilty expression said it all. "I was young, okay!"

"Humph! Excuses! I was young, too!" Soti was not lying she had just been born and was only a few days old and then this little girl comes out of nowhere and tugs on her wings!

"Okay, no fighting." Kana could feel a headache coming on so she decided to step in. "So Soti, can you change back?"

"Mmm!" Soti nodded and her body started to glow and shrink down before suddenly turning into a sword. The black blade connected to a white hilt floated in the air in front of Kana. "See!"

Kana stared at the sword that just talked and found it quite unique. "And you can change back and forth freely?"

"Yep!" Soti suddenly went puff and turned back into her fairy form. "And now I am back to being Cute Soti. The other Soti is Slaughter Soti!"

Seeing the little figure standing in the air with her chest puffed out and her hands on her hips as she proudly stated all of this was quite cute. Kana smiled and patted the little figure on the head. "Then I will be relying on you."

"You name it, and I will cut it! Not even time can withstand my attacks!" Soti proudly stated. While Kana pushed it off as the little fairy talking herself up, in fact, she was named because she was able to do just that. And only Kana was able to actually wield her.

"Beep, Bop, Buu! Just so you all know, the door leading to the next trial will be closing in five minutes!" A voice filled the room.

"I guess we should move on then!" Kana did not wish to miss their chance to advance, so she led the way through the door with Soti on her shoulder.

The tunnel was another long one. When they finally made it through and reached the other side, they were met with another board with writing on it as well as a door on each side of it. Kana walked up to it and read what was written. "There are two doors. Both doors lead to different places for each person who enters the door. These trials are to test each individual. To test to see if they are ready to progress to the higher realms. Only those who have pa.s.sed these tests are able to proceed. Those left behind will have no choice but to return from which you came."

"This…." Kana frowned. She did not want to split up her family! "So you are saying that you want to split my family up?"

Kana thought for a moment before tapping the air in front of her. A tear in s.p.a.ce formed, and with a few more waves of her hand, the tear turned from a dark tunnel to one as bright as day. "This is a safe s.p.a.ce. All of you will enter it. I do not want you to be stumped by this trial."

"Mama…. You can't. If you pa.s.s this trial on your own, you will not be able to take the others back out since it might trigger some fail safe." Nia knew her mother well. She would definitely put up some kind of fail safe.

"This…" Kana did not know what to do. She could not risk it! If they could not come back out, she would just do it by herself! "Then I will just take it alone."

"Mama?" Bi Ling felt like they were being looked down on. So she couldn't help but pout.

"It's not that I do not believe in all of you. It's just that the questions alone just now already showed that this place is not normal. Unless you think like me, you will probably end up not being able to pa.s.s…. I do not want to go to a new place without you…." Kana hurriedly explained.

Kana was left standing there with Soti on her shoulder. She looked at the two doors before stepping forward to the right door and opening it. "Let's hope my luck is good!"

She stepped through the door and entered the darkness. The door slammed shut behind her and disappeared. "You have arrived."

"Mhm." Kana nodded as she looked at the figure in front of her. "You are…. Me?"

"You can say that. My guess is that you put your family into a s.p.a.ce that only you can access. Smart thinking." The figure who looked just like Kana smiled, walked over to the side, and pressed the air with her finger. A large red couch suddenly rose up from the floor. "Please take a seat. We have a lot to talk about.
