Sunny went to speak to the school authorities before other interested companies would request it.

When the ceremony Officially came to an end, Jia Li left the auditorium with her awards ???? certificate and medal ???? but she was immediately surrounded by the reporters.

Different questions were thrown at her. Jia Li was really shocked by the attention she was getting from the media. The shutter sounds from their cameras couldn't stop for a minute.

Jia Li was lucky to be saved by her teacher who helped her to get away from them

"Thank you, teacher." Jia Li said to her teacher gratefully. She didn't know she would have been able to escape if not for her.

"There is no problem. I will see you later, I have something to talk to the Vice-Chancellor about." Her teacher said to her.

When her teacher left, Jia Li was not about to relax for a minute before her friends came to find her. They screamed her name excitedly as they ran to her side.

"Congratulations Jia Li!".

"You've made us proud!"

"I was so shocked but we are proud of you!"

Her friends congratulated her, they hugged her and took so many pictures. While they were chatting Grandfather Fu was being interviewed by the reporters.

He had just come out of the building without his nose mask when the reporters came to his side. Grandfather Fu was well respected, so the reporters were not rude to him.

Butler Lu came over with a few soldiers to surround the old man. Before the graduation ceremony started, the old man didn't allow them to come in with him, so they had no choice but to wait outside for him.

Questions like, 'Were you invited for this ceremony, Are you interested in the fas.h.i.+on industry, and what do you have to say about the best graduating student?' were asked.

Grandfather Fu was very happy to reply to the third question. He was proud to talk about her beloved granddaughter-in-law.

Grandfather Fu replied to a few of their questions cheerfully before his escorts cleared the path for him.

The reporters didn't chase after him and instead continued standing where they were to interview more people, especially the representatives from the Top designer companies that were in attendance.

They wanted to ask them so many questions like what they thought about the newly awarded best student of the school and the best fas.h.i.+on designer of the school.

Jia Li was still chatting with her friends when Fu Meixu walked over. She hugged her and congratulate her.

"Sister Meixu, you left your filming to come here?" Jia Li asked as she was touched by the gesture. She knew that the movie she was starring in has begun to film.

"It's nothing. I came here to cheer you up as you ended up making all of us proud, it's worth the trip. I don't have enough time to stay, I have to travel to the filming location right away, I have a scene to shoot tomorrow morning." Fu Meixu said to her.

"Thank you for coming." Jia Li said to her in a grateful tone.

Fu Meixu took a few shots with her before leaving hurriedly, as she didn't want to miss her flight.

"Was that your sister-in-law?" DanDan asked.

"She is my cousin-in-law, I have never met my sister-in-law before." Jia Li revealed.

"Why is that?" Daiyu asked in surprise.

"She's not in the country." Jia Li replied.

"Oh..."

Jia Li was looking around when she caught sight of Grandfather Fu walking towards her. She walked out to him excitedly and ran towards him with her awards.

"Grandfather!"

As she called out to him, lots of attention was attracted to her but Jia Li was too excited to care.

Grandfather Fu smiled brightly when he heard Jia Li call out to him. But he became worried when he saw her running towards him. He was scared she might trip and fall, she was pregnant after all.

When Jia Li came to his side, she wanted to hug him but the things she was holding were too much for her, luckily, Butler Lu helped to hold them for her.

Jia Li gave her old man a side hug with an excited smile. She was very happy to see him and couldn't hide the joy in her heart.

"Did you plan on not telling me about your graduation?" Grandfather Fu asked with a smile.

"No, grandfather, I thought you will be busy and I didn't want to disturb you." Jia Li replied with a smile.

"Who says you are disturbing me? Next time, don't think like that and tell me whatever you have in mind." Grandfather Fu said to her.

"Okay, grandfather. Thank you for coming." Jia Li said happily.

She took pictures with grandfather Fu and was chatting with him when her friends walked over.

"Are these your friends?" Grandfather Fu asked when he saw the three young ladies.

"Yes, Grandfather." Jia Li replied and went ahead to introduce her friends to him.

Her friends greeted the old man politely and he talked to them for a few seconds before turning to Jia Li to say, "Li girl, I have to leave now, go ahead and talk to your friends, your present will be delivered to you when you get home."

"Thank you, grandfather." Jia Li said to him joyously. She had no idea the old man would prepare a gift for her and she was grateful to him.

Butler Lu handed Jia Li's awards back to her before leaving with the old man and his escorts and Jia Li's friends took the awards from her.

When Grandfather Fu left, Jia Li was still happy and looking towards the direction he left while her friends talked excitedly because of how well she was treated. When Li Huan and his mother approached them.

"Jia Li?" Mrs. Li called out to Jia Li with a smile.

Jia Li glanced at them and the smile on her face relaxed a bit as she walked to them.

Her friends greeted Li Huan since they recognized him. He was their senior in high school back then. They greeted his mother before moving away to give them s.p.a.ce to talk.

"Jia Li, congratulations on graduating." Mrs. Li said to her with a happy smile.

"Thank you, Auntie!" Jia Li said with a polite smile. She felt things were awkward because of Li Huan's presence.. He never mentioned bringing his mother to her graduation ceremony and she didn't know how to feel about it.
