Knowing that they just had four hours to finish mending the dresses and go have lunch, everyone got ready to put in their best effort.

Jia Li took off her wedding ring and tied up her hair properly before she began to work on the dress.

There was a big clock with a timer already set and placed in front of the big room, so the 20 of them would see the time they had left, each time they turned to glance at the wall.

After working for 4 hours, the timer went off, and everyone was asked to leave and go have lunch. Everybody sighed in relief and left for the canteen for lunch.

Jia Li was too tired to say a word to anybody she went straight to get her food before going to sit at an empty table.

Bai Jun was the second person to arrive. She ordered her meal and found an empty table to sit down and eat.

The rest of the newbies arrived in groups and went to place an order for their food before Linda dragged Marié and the others to go sit at Jia Li's desk.

The other groups of people, went to find another free table and chairs to seat, leaving only Bai Jun to herself.

This is the kind of treatment Bai Jun has been receiving since everyone found out the secret she tried so hard to deny but failed.

Glancing over at Jia Li's table and seeing how she was surrounded by the others while no one came to her, anger and jealousy brewed in Bai Jun's heart. As anger and jealousy filled Bai Jun's heart, she lost appet.i.te to continue eating, so she carried her tray and walked away.

Marié scoffed after Bai Jun left and continued eating her food. As days went by, she hated Bai Jun more.

"Sometimes I want to pity her, but I can't." One of them said as she retracted her gaze from Bai Jun.

"If you pity her, I will send you straight to her, so you two can become best friends and partners in crime." Marié threatened.

Linda smiled, as her eyes went to Jia Li's finger, finding it empty. Having noticed that her wedding ring was not there, she asked, "JL, did you take off your wedding ring?."

"Huh." ???? Jia Li reacted as she glanced at her fingers and became worried when she didn't see her ring. She was about to start panicking when she remembered where she left it after taking it off.

"Thanks for the reminder, I left it on my work desk, I'm going to get it now, bye." Jia Li said as she got off from her seat with her tray in hand.

"What about your food?." One of them asked in surprise.

"I'm done eating." Jia Li replied and left hurriedly, her wedding ring was more important to her than the food she was eating.

"It's just a ring, why is she in a hurry, she didn't finish her for because of it," Marié said with her gaze on Jia Li.

"It's not just any ring, it's her wedding ring," Linda replied.

When Bai Jun left the canteen, she returned to the room where they stayed to work on the dresses and discovered that all the dresses they finished mending before going for lunch, had been taken out already.

Bai Jun sighed as she wondered if she did a good job with the dress she worked on. As Bai Jun was about to leave, and inspiration to take a look in the room came to her, and so, she began to walk from desk to desk.

After pa.s.sing 5 desks, she went straight to the desk Jia Li used. Immediately she got there, light from the item on the desk reflected on her eyes, and after she re-positioned herself and took a good look, and behold, she saw a being lying on the desk and gladly picked it up.

She recognized the ring as Jia Li's wedding ring. And thinking about how Fu Hua must have put the ring on Jia Li's finger, Bai Jun became unhappy and took off her wedding ring and put Jia Li's wedding ring on her finger.

While admiring the ring on her finger, she said, "What's so good about that b.i.t.c.h, this ring looks good on me too."

"What do you think you're doing?!." Jia Li asked angrily when she walked in and saw her wedding ring on Bai Jun's finger.

Bai Jun was shocked to see Jia Li and became a bit worried now that she was seen. She has been so busy fantasizing about Fu Hua putting the ring on her finger instead of Jia Li, that she didn't notice when someone walked in.

Bai Jun was still shocked by Jia Li's appearance that she forgot to react, and that angered Jia Li the more. She immediately walked up to Bai Jun and s.n.a.t.c.hed her wedding ring from her finger forcefully. Then after cleaning it, she slides it on her ring finger.

"Miss Bai, you have really crossed the line today. I advise you not cross me again, or this will be the end of you working in FJ." Jia Li threatened while pointing a finger at her.

Bai Jun came back to her senses and chuckled before responding. "It's not like you have any evidence to report me with, so why are you showing off your fake authority in front of me?."

"Fake authority? I can make you leave FJ this instant if I want to, because that CCTV camera there, is evidence to show my husband of the kind of twisted mindset you have about him, and let me see how you will relate in an environment where people hate and curse you for trying on another married woman's wedding ring after taking off yours." Jia Li threatened again.

She was so angry that she felt like slapping Bai Jun hard on the face. And this was the first time in their lives they were exchanging words and having a face-off.

When Bai Jun was reminded of the CCTV cameras in the room, she became angry and said to her, "Do you think Brother Hua will go against work ethics to fire me for personal reasons?."

"Not when the personal reason is related to him. I'm sure you remember his warnings clearly.." After saying that, Jia Li walked away, leaving the angry and humiliated Bai Jun to herself.
