Christmas Day was a day set out for Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Most families usually celebrated this day by cooking, eating and having fun with their families and also exchanging gifts.

But for the Suarez family, it was a different case. Since Feng Alix walked into their family and took on the role of the Mistress of their household, peace has been far from them.

Mr. Suarez no longer listens to any of his family members apart from Alix and whatever she wants, is what she will get. Whatever she decided, is what everyone will get.

And being a woman who knew how to please her old husband, she surely knew the way to his heart and also how to get whatever she wanted from him.

Normally a big family like Suarez just like any other prominent family should have a family tradition but this year, none of that was happening nor was going to happen because Alix was in charge of planning the Christmas celebration.

Some weeks before Christmas, Mr. Suarez asked her what she wanted as a Christmas gift and she said she would like to plan the Christmas celebration. She was given permission for that, much to the annoyance of the Suarez family members.

Being given permission to do what she liked, Alix altered the generational ritual in the family. She planned tree Christmas celebration however she liked it, and no matter the complaints that were given to the old man, he still let her do what she wanted.

Furious as to what charm Alix had used on their family head, the whole family ganged up against her and planned to sabotage her party.

On Christmas Day, all Alix had, was a ruined party. All the people she employed to prepare the event, disappointed her.

The Christmas party which was supposed to start in the evening by 7 pm, which was according to the time she put on the invitation cards she sent out kicked off earlier than expected.

Alix wondered while the guests she invited by 7 pm, was doing in their house by 4 pm. The party was supposed to start by 7 pm but guests started arriving by 4 pm, which came as a shock to her.

She has to check the invitation cards herself and when she saw the time that was written there, she finally understood why her guests came early and she didn't need anyone to tell her that this was a plan to disorganize her party.

Since her guests came early, Alix tried to move everything up to that time but failed. The caterers and everybody she employed for the event, did not respond positively since they were not prepared for the turn of events.

Seeing all her preparations go downhill, the disappointment of her guests, the gloating of the Suarez family, the anger on her husband's face, Alix felt like killing somebody. And even after she cried to Mr. Suarez telling him that someone ruined her party, he didn't believe her. He only expressed his disappointment at the face he lost in front of so many distinguished guests.

Although she knew who sabotaged her party, she didn't have the guts to go and challenge the entire Suarez family without evidence because they still had a lot of power in their hands, so she could only cry by herself.

The Christmas party the Fu family hosted which kicked off around 5 PM, was successful and heartwarming, as so many family friends came to celebrate.

Jia Li's three friends were present, and they could not get over the cuteness of the little bun in her Christmas dress. The three young ladies were lucky that the little bun who was initially scared of them holding her finally relaxed her vigilance.

Jia Li's three friends felt lucky to be in the presence of so many dignitaries and it was all thanks to the fact that Jia Li gave them an invitation card to the party.

FangSu and Meixu introduced Jia Li to their friends, who were also her fans. But it was a little disappointing that Jia Li could not design something privately for them since she was FJ's employee.

"Don't be too sad, you can always buy her clothes released in the market for the Film festival awards and any other events of your choice." Fu Meixu had sent to them.

"Yes, you can support your favorite designer that way." FangSu added with a smile.

Jia Li was grateful that FangSu and Meixu were helping to introduce her works to their circle and she didn't know how to thank them even though they didn't need it.

A few days later, it was New Year's Eve and currently, it was a few minutes to midnight and the entire Fu family members including their servants and security team, stood outside in protective clothing while waiting for the right time to light up the firecrackers.

Everyone apart from the little bun who was sleeping in Fu Ling's arms waited eagerly to set off the firecrackers and shout, 'Happy New Year!'

And Finally, immediately it clocked 12, the first light works set off after a 10 seconds countdown by the Fu family, and they all screamed in Unison, 'Happy New Year!!!'

The little bun who was dozing off in her Uncle's arms slowly opened her eyes after the noise from the fireworks and the voices from the family members woke her up.

Everyone wished the little bun a happy new year and they were very careful with their actions so as not to make the little girl cry. She just woke up from sleep and still looked a little shocked with their shouts and the fireworks and if they are aggressive with their greeting, they couldn't guarantee that she wouldn't start crying.

It wouldn't look good for the little bun to start a new hour a new day and a new year with cries, so they were really mindful with their actions. And when they noticed that little girl was finally relaxed, they sighed in relief and continued with their shouts of joy.

After greeting each other, the family remained standing in place and watched the fireworks. Fu Hua was standing beside Jia Li, went behind to embrace her.

While resting his jaw on her shoulder, he leaned in to whisper to her ear, "Welcome to another wonderful year with you."

"Thank you!" Jia Li replied with a smile as her gaze was still on the fireworks. When she thought he was done talking, she felt his hot breath tease her neck, while listening to his naughty words.
