"Jia Li, you are really lifting us and making our heads swell. Even if we don't have time, we will make out time to come." Dan Dan said.

Jia Li chuckled softly as she said to them, "Okay then, I will give you notifications if anything crops up, I have to go now."

"Sure, bye!!!" The three of them said at once as they waved to her. After the call, Jia Li still had a smile on her face, because of how funny her friends were. When she thought back to how they danced earlier, she couldn't help chuckling hard.

Fu Hua heard still laughing hard when he walked out of the bathroom. He smiled and asked, "Who is making you laugh so much like this?"

Keeping her phone aside, Jia Li got off the bed and made her way towards him. "My friends. I just told them about my clothing line, and they couldn't help dancing around. You need to have seen the funny steps they made, I couldn't help laughing after recalling that scene."

"If a dance step can make you so happy, that means your joy is so full today." Fu Hua said as he hugged her waist.

"Yes, I am so happy that any little thing can make me so happy, and I have you to thank for it. The preparation for my clothing line is moving up fast, and there has been no obstruction so far." Jia Li said in a happy tone as she hugged him back.

Since this precious journey started, things have been moving up well for her, and she couldn't thank Fu Hua enough for the cooperation she received.

A mischievous smile crept up Fu Hua's face, as he thought of something. "Since you are so grateful to me, why don't you reward me in another way?" He said in a suggestive tone.

"What other way?" Jia Li asked with a soft expression on her face.

Fu Hua pointed out his cheek as he turned his face slightly, for the perfect angle to be in her view.

Jia Li understood that he was asking for a kiss, and she chuckled before tiptoeing and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Satisfied now?" She asked with raised brows.

Fu Hua nodded in response, and the next moment, he swept her off her feet. A yelp escaped from Jia Li's lips as he lifted her in his arms, and carried her towards the bed.

Halfway to the bed, Fu Hua met her questionable gaze and asked with a smirk, "What dirty thoughts are going through your head right now?"

"Dirty thoughts? Who told you what I'm thinking about now is dirty?" Jia Li asked with a playful smile.

Fu Hua put her on the bed and climbed in after her. "Your gaze says a lot about that you're thinking, and I am a good interpreter, so tell me what kind of dirty thoughts are going on in your head?"

"I'm not thinking of anything dirty, it's your thoughts that are dirty. Right now, my head is filled with my clothing line, and can't wait for the launch date!" Jia Li said a little excitedly.

"If you say so, then I won't argue with you, but I just wanted to let you know that nothing is happening tonight. I just brought you to bed to sleep early." Fu Hua said.

Covering herself with the duvet, Jia Li said in response, "Thank you, good night."

"Good night." Fu Hua replied.

As the day turned brighter, Jia Li continued to work on her project, until the ads were released, and only then could she take a little break off, while waiting for the launch date.

From September up till this time, Meixu and s.h.i.+ Qiao have only seen each other a handful of times, because of their busy schedule. But today, s.h.i.+ Qiao found out after a call with Meixu that she had free time, he moved his remaining work to the next day, just so he can meet with her.

These days, the relations.h.i.+p between them was getting better, especially after apologizing to each other, no guilt remained in their heart.

"What do you think about dating me?" s.h.i.+ Qiao asked after mustering courage from drinking a gla.s.s of water.

"What?" Meixu asked with a confused gaze, mixed with a little shock.

"I mean, I genuinely like you a lot, and I would wish for us to date. Will you be my girlfriend?" s.h.i.+ Qiao asked with his gaze fixed on her.

"Are you asking me out right now?" Meixu asked with a bewildered gaze.

She was really surprised by his way of asking people out. He was so direct that if she didn't have a better understanding of him, she would have thought he was an emotionless person.

"Yes, I am. Meixu, will you be my girlfriend?" s.h.i.+ Qiao confirmed and asked again with more courage. He only hoped at the back of his mind, that he wouldn't be rejected, or his pride would be hurt, and he wouldn't know how to face her again.

Meixu looked him in the eyes to check the level of his seriousness. A few seconds later, she asked, "What's so special in me, why do you want to date me?"

"Because you are you. I have known you for a while now, so I know most of your good and bad sides, and I accept all of them." s.h.i.+ Qiao said with a serious gaze.

Not only had he known Meixu for a while now, but he had also interacted with her and studied her. Telling her his feelings for her, was after he had decided to love her despite her flaws.

Meixu was not expecting this reply for him. She thought he would say some romantic words, but he didn't. She was indeed surprised, but we confirmed something from his words, he was truly genuine.
