Fu Hua smiled and said, “She has this kind of att.i.tude that is capable of crus.h.i.+ng a man’s ego, especially men with her husband’s background and personality.”

Jia Li nodded as she came to understand the gist. She already knew that Fu Juan’s husband didn’t come from a wealthy family like the Fu’s.

And that was also one of the main reasons Grandfather Fu didn’t want his daughter to get married to him. He was not discriminating, but he had made that choice after studying the two of them.

Before going back home, Jasmine said she was very hungry and couldn’t wait for dinner, so Fu Hua drive them to a fine diner. Especially because of Jia Li who needed to feed well.

Snacks were not enough to supply her with the daily nutrient she needed for herself and the baby.

As for Fu Ling, he found where to be, and that was in his company. He hated drama and liked to stay away from it. And at the end of the day when he finished working, he went to the restaurant Xiulan was working at, to eat.

In the evening, before the young generation could come back home, Fu Juan arrived. Since they were expectant of her visit, two servants hung around to help her with her luggage any time she was coming.

To the surprise of the servants who went to help her get her luggage from the car, they saw a younger lady stepping out of the car as well.

This was so unexpected for them since they were not informed about it, but they managed to contain their surprise and help the two women with their luggage.

Fu Hee was checking out the meals being prepared for dinner when a servant came to notify her of a younger woman in Fu Juan’s company.

”How could she bring someone else without informing anybody?” Fu Hee said with furrowed brows.

As she was leaving the kitchen, she met Fu ChuHua who asked her what she was p.i.s.sed about, and she narrated her reason.

Fu ChuHua was also taken by surprise. “Why didn’t she say anything about it before? Who is the young lady, her a.s.sistant or what?”

It would be normal for Fu Juan to notify the family that she was coming with somebody even if she is a daughter of the family. It was courtesy, but she chose to hide that fact. There was no way she would have forgotten that fact.

”Today is the first day and she is already acting like this. She should have told father about this, then we can prepare another room.” Fu Hee said as she continued in her step.

”It looks like Fu Juan needs to be reminded of the rules in this family again. Father or you, being the mistress of the house, should be notified of any none family member coming over. And normally, father should be the one to approve of it, but no, with Fu Juan, the case is different. I just hope that father would talk to her like he said.” Fu ChuHua said.
