Lanying sneered in her heart. For once, she thought that there was going to be a change of plans.

She even blamed herself for still thinking about her mother’s change of her heart, but it looks like she was wasting her emotions.

’Lanying get a hold of yourself!’ She reminded herself.

After dinner, everyone retired to their bedrooms for the night.

Meixu immediately got on the phone with s.h.i.+ Qiao who was asking her when he would come to pick her up.

”How could you have the heart to abandon your newly wedded husband?” s.h.i.+ Qiao asked with a down caster facial expression.

He was really missing her and wanted her around his arms. So they would talk about everything and have a little romance after that.

Meixu smiled, knowing fully well how much they have missed each other. Honestly, she didn’t know she was going to stay for this long because of her Aunt.

She thought they would have left immediately after Jia Li’s new clothing launch, but they ended up staying for 2 more weeks due to Aiguo’s accident.

”Husband, your wife will be back in 3 days. My Aunt will be leaving in 2 days, so I will come back the next day. But if you miss me too much, you can come over tomorrow, and we can leave together on that day.”

s.h.i.+ Qiao mulled over her words for a few seconds before replying, “I will come in 2 days, then we can leave together.”

”You are the best?” Meixu screamed excitedly.

s.h.i.+ Qiao chuckled before going on to ask her how her day was and everything she did. This was the time for them to catch up with their day-to-day activities.

Back in Jia Li and Fu Hua’s bedroom, both of them were sweating things off.

Because of her baby b.u.mp, Fu Hua could no longer put his whole weight on her. He had to prop on his hands while doing the missionary style.

When he was finally done, he kissed her lips deeply before laying beside her and breathing rapidly.

”I don’t know how someone would be pregnant and look so beautiful!”

Jia Li managed to let out a soft chuckle in-between taking deep breaths.

Even while pregnant with that fast-growing baby b.u.mp, she was still active in bed, because her husband wouldn’t let her off.

She was still okay with it, so she couldn’t say no to him.

”I won’t join you to practice Yoga tomorrow morning, I have to be in the office early.” Fu Hua announced, changing topics immediately.

”Tomorrow is Sat.u.r.day, why do you have to be in the office?” Jia Li asked with a slight frown.

She didn’t want to miss his company in the morning and the entire day, so she was a bit unhappy.

Fu Hua pinched her cheeks gently and said, “I need to work speedily on one more design that will be going for the fas.h.i.+on show. What about your designs, is it ready?”

”I have long submitted mine a while ago, and I hope it gets picked.” Jia Li replied with a smile.

”Why wouldn’t it be picked, you are so talented and everyone can attest to that?” Fu Hua kissed her cheeks and brought her into his arms.

Jia Li was only happy for a moment before going back to her sulking mood. “Still, can’t you spend the morning with me, and work on the design in your study, I promise that Jasmine won’t disturb you.”

Fu Hua smiled and didn’t know what to say to her. He so badly wanted to keep her company, but he needed 5 hours straight for that design, and there was no way he would bear to stay away from them for that long.

Staying in his study could cause him to forget about time. And staying at home and staying away from them at the same time doesn’t look good, so it was better for him to be at the office and know that it was a valid reason to not see them.

”Do you know the best part of your pregnancy?” Fu Hua asked out of the blue. There was a cheeky smile on his face as he asked that question.

”What is it?” Jia Li asked curiously.

Fu Hua leaned in to whisper to her, “We get to make love without bothering that you take in again,”

Fu Hua git a whack on his arm after that, and could only laugh while watching her get off the bed.

”Where are you going to?” He asked after her.

”To pee of course, and to wash your scent off my body. Change the sheets before I get back!” Jia Li said without looking back.

Fu Hua chuckled loudly and said after watching her waist seeing from side to side, and the way her b.u.t.ts moved and vibrated in rhythm.

”You know, I think I like your backside more,” He said to her with a naughty gaze on her.

Jia Li paused in her steps and turned to glare at him, “Pervert!”

As she turned to her side, Fu Hua glanced at her right b.o.o.bs and licked his lips seductively.

”Why do I feel that I like your front side more?” He teased.

Jia Li could no longer tolerate his flirts and immediately walked away after glaring at him one more time.

”Wait! I think I like all parts of you!” Fu Hua added just before she could disappear from his sight.

When he heard no response from her, he chuckled to himself before getting off the bed.

His wife asked him to change the sheets therefore he had to do that after teasing her, or he might receive a good beating from her.

These days, her temper was like a volcano, and fortunately for him, he knew when to stop otherwise if he gets beaten and tells people, no one will believe him, talk more of saving him.

The next day, Fu Hua joined Jia Li in her Yoga exercise and even had breakfast together with the entire family before leaving for work.

On his way to the entrance, Fu Hee stopped him and gave him a good reminder before letting him go.

”Don’t take too long at the office. This is the weekend which is the perfect period to spend time with your family.”

Fu Hua agreed with what she said and even promised to return at noon.

Everything seemed to have been going in well until Lanying decided to strike.

Around 11 AM, Lanying met Jia Li and Jasmine sitting outside on the veranda, reading books of different interests.

Actually, Lanying was looking for Jasmine and found the two of them together after asking a servant for her whereabouts.

She had asked the servant nicely so of course she was told where she was, without her (the servant) suspecting a thing.

There was a gla.s.s of milk before Jasmine, and a bunch of bananas and grapes before Jia Li, which they enjoyed while reading their books.

”Mummy, my pencil has broken again, and my sharpener is not here, can you help me with it?” Jasmine asked with a frozen as she showed off her pencil which had a broken mouth.

Jia Li took the pencil from her and gave a good glance at it before sighing. “How do you hold your pencil?”

”I didn’t hold it too strong as you thought me. The mouth of the pencil has been shaking for a while,” Jasmine replied with an innocent gaze.

Jia Li sighed again and looked around for a servant to send on an errand but she didn’t see anybody because she had sent them away earlier.

She was about to tell her little daughter for them to go and look for her sharpener together, or if she could wait for her to come back when Lanying who was watching from the pillar, emerged.

”Sister Jia Li, please I need your help…” Lanying said with a worried gaze as she took steady steps towards them.

Jia Li glanced at her in surprise before asking, “What is it?” She was surprised that she came to her for help.

”Can you share your hotspot for me, I need to reply to a message to my friend. I don’t know why my network is not working,” Lanying said with a big frown.

She looked as if it was a big deal and needed her help to get through it.

”You need my internet connection?” Jia Li asked.

Lanying thought she wasn’t going to help her so, she immediately said, “I’m sorry to bother you, but I really had no choice. My mother is not at home, and the servants do not carry their phones during work hours, and there was no one I could ask for help.”

Jia Li understood that n.o.body would want to help her because they were off the list.

”Is not that I don’t want to help you, but my phone is not here. If this is not an emergency, you can wait for me to get my phone,”

”Of course, I will wait!” Lanying said gracefully. She was careful in her acting not to appear too fake.

Jasmine glanced at her mother and reminded her about the sharpener for her pencil.

”I know, I won’t forget it,” Jia Li replied before leaving.
