Chapter 704 - Edgar Feels So Lucky

Clara lowered her head and then looked up at Edgar again, with a pair of eyes that resembled puppy eyes. She was so embarra.s.sed that she slipped about what she was thinking. It was her weakness actually.

Many people thought she was this elegant lady, well-educated, prim and proper, and whatnot... but it was actually the exterior she showed to people because of how she was taught to be a proper lady.

However, after she became close to someone and felt comfortable enough to be herself, she would show this side of her. The curious young woman with a lot of questions in her mind.

Now that she had spent so much time with Edgar and, especially, knowing they would be married soon, her level of comfort had gone up several notches and she let her guard down.

Now, she was worried if Edgar would be disappointed after he found out she was not exactly like the woman he thought she was.

Clara looked at Edgar with batted eyes, an expression of worry was evident on her face. Would Edgar cancel their wedding because she talked lewd?

Slowly tears started forming in her eyes and this made Edgar shocked. He didn't know what he did to make his fiancee cry.

"Hey.. hey.. why are you crying?" he asked her in a panic. Edgar used his thumb to wipe the single tear that fell from her eyes. Then he moved slowly to the bed and sat with Clara on his lap. "Did I say something that offended you?"

Clara looked down, bit her lip, and then shook her head.

"So... why are you crying?" Edgar was confused. She was so funny just now, talking about what kind of animal Edgar was in bed, and suddenly she cried. This didn't make sense.

He knew women were difficult to understand and he didn't have that much interaction with the opposite s.e.x except for a few women he dated in the past - his sisters didn't count obviously. However, he didn't expect Clara to be this unpredictable.

Should he start asking for advice from Gewen?

Gah... bad idea. Gewen couldn't even deal with the woman he loved. What made Edgar think he could rely on the former womanizer's advice on his love life?

Finally, he tried to exert patience and understanding. He shouldn't a.s.sume what made Clara cry. Maybe she was just embarra.s.sed and couldn't immediately reply to his question?

So, Edgar tugged her chin gently and looked at her with a smile, trying to look as harmless as possible. He had been told that if he questioned people with a serious expression, he looked very scary.

He didn't want Clara to be scared of him.

"Tell me what makes you cry, so I would know how to prevent your tears from spilling," he said to her gently. "Is it something I did? If so, I apologize."

Clara quickly shook her head vigorously. "No... it's not you. I just—"

She bit her lip, looking like a guilty cat. She looked crazily adorable and Edgar had to take a deep breath and distract his mind into something boring. His p.e.n.i.s throbbed and it started to feel so uncomfortable.

Perhaps, after he calmed her down and made sure she could sleep, he would go back to his old chamber and relieve himself before he went back here and slept on the couch.

"You just...?" Edgar asked with a hoa.r.s.e voice.

"Ahem..." Clara cleared her throat. Another tear fell down her cheek. "I am worried that you think I am rude for talking about this... stuff with you. And.. you will regret having me... because you are disappointed... because I am not... pure in mind... like what you thought I was."

"Huh?"

Edgar was stunned. He didn't understand how women's minds work, but Clara surely had an interesting train of thought and he thought she was funny.

Secretly, he was relieved to know that she was crying not because of what he did, but because of her own a.s.sumption, thinking that Edgar didn't like her bluntness when discussing s.e.x.

No, it was actually the opposite. Seeing how much Clara felt curious, about s.e.x and about him, made Edgar feel good about their relations.h.i.+p. She seemed to be the open type, one that he could talk with.

He had had s.e.x with women who were only lying there like a log and he had to figure things out on his own. They didn't communicate, especially about s.e.x and it was easy to guess why their relations.h.i.+p didn't last.

Now, he really had a good hope with Clara and realized he truly had struck gold. He didn't know how he could be so lucky. He was not the best looking man in Draec, like Gewen, nor the most powerful man here, like Mars, but he was blessed with the best wife for him.

He really couldn't ask for more.

Edgar smiled sweetly and touched Clara's lips with his index finger. "No, I surely don't regret asking you to marry me. In fact, I feel so lucky and blessed."

"Huh?" Clara didn't understand how Edgar's mind worked. He didn't consider her rude, and didn't regret asking her hand in marriage? "You don't?"

"No...." Edgar cleared his throat. "I am also curious to know what kind of animal you are in bed. I can't wait to see for myself..."

He added, "As for me... can you make a guess?"

His p.e.n.i.s throbbed again. Gosh... it's so unbearable.

Maybe he should just get his relief here and explore what kind of animals they were in bed at the same time. The thought was so tempting.

Clara finally smiled. She glanced at Edgar's finger on her lips. Then, she naughtily opened her mouth and... bite his finger, playfully, careful not to hurt him.

The man winced. Having his finger in her moist mouth, his desire went through the roof.

Edgar instantly imagine his engorged p.e.n.i.s in her mouth and her wet tongue licked the crown hungrily, as he moved his shaft in and out of her mouth.
