The whole residential block was under the Li family property. Only the top wealthiest families in mainland China could afford to set a foot in those apartments. In one such building, there was a penthouse on the top floor. In that penthouse, there lived the mysterious eldest young master of the Li family. The young master of Li family, Li Zhiqiang, the one whose name shrouded in fear and reverence.

"If you want her that much why don't you get her back..." Li Xun said helplessly when his brother continued staring at those pictures for straight ten minutes while he waited in silence to report to him and have his day off.

Li Zhiqiang was staring at the scattered photos of a bewitching young girl. A deep longing was apparent in his usual cold eyes. Even it was only a photo, a lifeless material thing, she was capable of putting life into it simply with her those limpid green eyes. Li Zhiqiang's emotionless eyes looked sad as his fingertips touched her photo. She was beautiful. One in millions. He considered himself lucky, thinking back to that time when he had her in his arms. To be the man who was holding that delicate woman in his arms.

"You are Li Zhiqiang. There isn't any woman you desire in this world that you are not capable of getting. Just one order and she will be presented to you next moment." Now f*cking let me go!

"There isn't any other woman I desire." What was the use of all this? What was the use of this great Li family? All that fortune and power, when he couldn't even be with the woman he loved?

Li Xun couldn't shake his brother who was as unreasonable as a troublesome suspicious wife. How many times they had this conversation before? He could only sigh helplessly and lament inwardly while struggling to maintain a concerned expression on his face.

"If she truly loves you, she'll understand and forgive you." He said again, helplessly. He had to try even though he would be disappointed every time. He could not live his life like that. He knew as long as his brother's love crisis didn't solve, he couldn't even have time to start his own love crisis.

Li Zhiqiang really wanted to believe she would. But he knew she hadn't. And he knew she wouldn't. He silently threw out a few other photos on the table and took another sip of wine to dampen his grief. "Look at this... her marrying another man." And he gulped down all that vine and went to refill the gla.s.s, "This is the end"

What? Jing Lihua married. Li Xun was frozen with terror. H-How the h.e.l.l world has not ended by now? His brother's wife... she had married another man? Did he hear right? His ears... were they functioning properly? No, his ears must have malfunctioned after months of torture by his brother's hands. But then what about his eyes? Had they also crashed? They must have.
