Chapter 51: Brother Cheng, I Knew You Wouldn’t Ignore Me…
Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios
Bo Hancheng spoke to Luo Zheng aloofly, as if they were strangers.
“Brother… no, I mean, Teacher Bo! I’m sorry to disturb you, Teacher Bo, I’m here for your lesson… ”
In order to avoid unnecessary trouble, Luo Zheng hurriedly changed the way that she addressed him.
“You’re here for the lesson?”
He sounded calm and a little sarcastic and derisive.
Next, he put the chalk down and looked away from Luo Zheng.
Luo Zheng s.h.i.+fted her gaze onto the blackboard.
She saw the words “Bo Hancheng” written in an a.s.sertive and perfect font on the blackboard.
They were lofty yet gentle.
Ah, Mr. Bodyguard is so outstanding, even at writing words with chalk!
Luo Zheng was just about to nod and admit that she was there for the lesson.
Someone stood up and disagreed, “Luo Zheng, this is an arts lesson. You’re not a student from our school anyway. You don’t have the rights to listen! Besides, there isn’t any s.p.a.ce for you.”
Luo Tingxue, the belle of Capital University, was the one who stood up.
She was indeed telling the truth.
According to the rules, outsiders were not allowed to attend the lessons of each major and there were barely anyone who belonged to the faculty of Arts in Capital University… To their surprise, Bo Hancheng’s appointment sparked an uproar and lots of his admirers came forth to attend the lesson.
Of course, most of them were girls!
Luo Zheng said feebly, “I can stand at the back, I won’t affect you guys… ”
“These are rules that cannot be broken!”
Luo Tingxue sat down again after speaking calmly.
The rest of the students began chatting softly.
“She’s Luo Zheng? That Luo Zheng who courted Senior Mubai?”
“I didn’t expect her to be rather good looking. I almost didn’t recognize her!”
“So what? Just because she’s pretty, it doesn’t mean she’s good enough for Senior Mubai.”
…
One of the boys seated in the first row took pity on her and reminded softly, “Luo Zheng, Senior Mubai isn’t here!”
Clearly, everyone thought that she was there for Xi Mubai.
Luo Zheng frowned and thought to herself, I really could care less if that Xi Mubai was here or not!
Upon hearing about Xi Mubai, Bo Hancheng stared at Luo Zheng and asked, “Do you know how to draw?”
Slightly stunned, Luo Zheng shook her head and answered truthfully, “No… ”
“Have you learned how to draw before?”
He seemed to be trying to get things clear.
Luo Zheng continue to shake her head in remorse and said, “No… ”
“This is an arts lesson. Since you can’t draw, why insist on staying!?!”
Bo Hancheng looked away after speaking to her coldly.
Feeling a little daunted and aggrieved after being yelled at, Luo Zheng lowered her head and said, “Teacher Bo, simmer down. I’ll go out.”
Luo Zheng slowly retreated from the cla.s.sroom before closing the door and comforting herself.
It is alright, do not think too much about it. Mr. Bodyguard just does not understand me.
Luo Zheng then squatted down in a corner.
She then whipped out her textbook to do some revision while waiting for Bo Hancheng to dismiss the cla.s.s!
…
“During today’s lesson, I want you guys to use 45 minutes to submit a portrait sketch of humans. You may use your cla.s.smates as models.”
Bo Hancheng had never taught an arts lesson before and was only at Capital University to settle some personal matters.
An arts professor was just an ident.i.ty that he took up at the last minute.
Hence, he decided to give them an a.s.signment and just make comments on their drawings afterwards.
Luo Tingxue obviously chose Bo Hancheng to be her model.
However, she began to feel a little frustrated because she noticed that he would stare at the closely shut door every now and then, seemingly deep in thought.
Her feminine instincts told her that there was a threat… Bo Hancheng seemed to feel a little different about Luo Zheng!
Luo Tingxue gripped the pencil tightly and watched as he left the rostrum to exit the room.
There was still some time to go before cla.s.s ended. Did he leave in such a hurry because he missed Luo Zheng?
Luo Tingxue did not have an answer. Even Bo Hancheng himself was clueless.
However, ripples formed in his heart when he caught sight of a girl squatting on the ground, not too far away from him.
Luo Zheng was biting her pen and trying to work out some math sums.
All of a sudden, Luo Zheng looked up and held his gaze. As happy as a lark, she said, “Brother Cheng, I knew it. You wouldn’t leave me alone… ”
Brother Cheng…
Bo Hancheng was slightly stunned to hear her address him that way.
She really does not understand the word awkward at all!
