Chapter 894: Emergency Treatment
“F*ck…” A doctor next to him was shocked. It was the kind of thing that could really come out of nowhere. He looked at the patient in shock.
In the next moment, would the imp in his body really not explode and destroy the entire world?
Fang Lin was also shocked. He had seen a lung hernia before, and it usually ended up in the mediastinum. He had never seen such a serious lung hernia that ended up in the neck.
If he caught a cold and kept coughing violently, it would probably press down on the carotid artery frequently, leading to cerebral hypoxia.
“Okay, okay.” Fang Lin quickly stopped the patient and looked at him carefully. As the patient stopped holding his breath, the thick neck gradually returned to normal.
Soon, the patient became no different from a normal person.
“This is very serious,” Fang Lin said.
“Yes, the hospital in my hometown gave a diagnosis, but the doctor said that he had never seen it before and didn’t dare to perform the surgery. He asked me to find you,” the patient said politely.
“Keep in touch. I’ll give you the message in three days,” Fang Lin said. “After the hospital check-up and the surgery, you’ll be able to go home in two or three days.”
“So fast!”
“It’s not a serious illness to begin with,” Fang Lin said. “But if complications arise, it’ll be more serious. But don’t worry, it won’t be a big deal in a few days.”
The patient and the patient’s family members exchanged a few more polite words before they left gratefully.
“Oh right, how is the girl with multiple organ tuberculosis that I saw last time?” Su Yun’s brain circuit was strange as he thought of this matter.
“She’s fine now, ” Fang Lin smiled and said. “After half a year of anti-tuberculosis treatment, she has basically recovered. Brother Yun, that girl is really beautiful. Do you want me to introduce her to you?”
“No need.” Su Yun’s face was cold. It was as if he was saying, ‘I flirt with girls all the time; do I need you to introduce me?” Who was he mocking?
“Boss Zheng, Brother Yun, it’s settled then. I’ll pull Zhao Yunlong along. That guy looks like he’s in a bad mood. I’ll grab him out for a drink. Don’t let him get sick from staying in at home,” Fang Lin said.
Zhao Yunlong was not in a good mood. It was worse from this event. However, everyone had a tacit understanding and did not say why. They just brushed it off.
Du Kang alcohol was the only thing that could solve the problem.
It was better to drink.
After the appointment, Zheng Ren and Su Yun left the Chest Ward. Fang Lin walked them all the way to the elevator.
Su Yun made a phone call and said that Cui Lao had left. Only then did the two return to the Intervention Department.
They were about to go to Chief Kong’s office to report. When they pa.s.sed by the doctor’s office, they saw that Granit’s face was flushed red. He was arguing with Rudolf Wagner.
Zheng Ren was curious. He stood at the door and asked, “Fugui, what’s wrong?”
“He has a few gripes. He said that he will only sign doc.u.ments in a common language here,” the Professor glared at Granit and said.
Zheng Ren knew that the status of domestic medicine was not internationally high. Granit said that he was here to learn, but deep down, he probably did not approve of it. Especially when it came to signing doc.u.ments, he was even more cautious.
He had not seen anything, yet he wanted him to sign a Chinese doc.u.ment. If it were him, he would not do it.
What if he was cheated?
“Then give him a doc.u.ment. Let him find someone to translate it today and see if it works,” Zheng Ren said. “Watch the surgery tomorrow and then we’ll talk.”
Zheng Ren was also quite helpless. Wanting to open up all the channels in a short period of time was no different from a fool’s dream.
For foreign doctors, they could not be spoiled, but they had to make things clear. They could not allow others to be arrogant, and they could not be too arrogant also.
Su Yun wanted to say something, but after hearing Zheng Ren’s words, he just pursed his lips and did not say anything.
If it was him, he would have killed Granit long ago.
Professor Rudolf Wagner nodded. Like a lion, he began to roar at Granit.
“Lower your voice, Lil Fugui.” After saying that, Zheng Ren turned around and left, arriving in front of Chief Kong’s office.
He gently knocked on the door, and Chief Kong’s voice could be heard.
Zheng Ren pushed the door open and said with a smile, “Chief Kong.”
Chief Kong’s face was gloomy. Anyone who was scolded by an Academician for an hour would not have a good time, but he soon smiled and said, “Have a seat.”
“I’m sorry, Chief Kong. I’ve caused you trouble,” said Zheng Ren.
Chief Kong waved his hand and said, “It’s only a matter of time.”
As he said that, he felt a little lucky. It was him who had foresight to poach Zheng Ren early on.
How could he let go of the meat in his mouth so easily!
“Has Cui Lao left?” asked Zheng Ren.
“Yes, there was a serious emergency. He said that there was a strange accident. The injured were twins. One had a large burn and the other had internal bleeding. He rushed back to command the rescue,” Chief Kong said. “Boss Zheng, as long as you want to work here, no one can touch you.”
“Of course, of course. I still have the n.o.bel Prize project. I’m not going anywhere.” Zheng Ren smiled. At this time, he could not give Chief Kong any more trouble.
Moreover, he had to make his intentions clear. He could not let Chief Kong’s heart go cold.
Hearing Zheng Ren say this, the smile on Chief Kong’s face became much more natural.
“Tomorrow, the Imperial Capital will step into the circle. There are more than ten directors who want to come and watch. I rejected them. I want to see you perform the TIPS surgery with my own eyes. Boss Zheng, is there any problem?” Chief Kong asked.
“There’s no problem with the surgery.” Zheng Ren told him what he and Su Yun had designed.
“Okay, I got it. Give me a copy of the doc.u.ment later. I’ll take a look first,” Chief Kong said after a moment of silence.
“Okay.” Just as Zheng Ren finished speaking, the phone on Chief Kong’s desk rang.
“h.e.l.lo, this is…
“Okay, I’ll go up now.
Chief Kong then hung up the phone. He stood up abruptly and said, “Operating theater, emergency consultation.”
“What patient?” Zheng Ren was stunned for a moment.
“It’s probably the patient from the car accident. He’s in hemorrhagic shock and has a retroperitoneal hematoma. He needs our help to stop the bleeding,” Chief Kong said.
After he finished speaking, he saw Zheng Ren’s eager look and smiled. “Let’s go take a look together.”
Then, he strode out of the office and headed straight for the operating theater outside the hospital.
In the changing room on the sixth floor, Chief Kong, Zheng Ren, and Su Yun walked in. They saw Chief Miao from the Department of Genitourinary Surgery and Fang Lin from the Department of Thoracic Surgery changing their clothes.
This was a consultation on the stage of the entire surgical system!
Zheng Ren immediately made a judgment.
From the looks of it, the patient’s condition was very serious. If they encountered such a situation, whether or not the patient could be saved was really between two possibilities. Moreover, as more and more departments went on stage, the probability of not being able to save the patient also increased.
“Boss Zheng, you’re here too,” Fang Lin hurriedly greeted.
“Why are you in such a hurry!” Su Yun said. “Place a chest bottle. After that, we’ll see the situation. You look like your a.s.s is on fire.”
“Aren’t you in a hurry to go in and take a look?” Fang Lin said. “It’s said that the illness is very serious. I reckon that it will be very difficult to save them.”
