“a.s.sholes, what are you waiting for! I’ll do it myself!” Alan angrily pulled out the gun from his belt loop and fired six shots at Linda. She fell over in a pool of blood.

No one dared to make a sound. Alan let out a long and contented sigh. The knot in his heart seemed to have eased a little. He smiled and took out a handkerchief from his pocket to wipe the blood off the gun.

“Feed it to the dogs,” Alan said and returned to the study on the third floor.
