Bai Weiwei's expression was filled with shock and admiration, and the faces of Nong Siniang and many others had heated obsession.

Lu Yin took a deep breath, and then took another step. It was time to enter the clouds.

Wu Yao’s eyes were locked onto “Yu Hao” as he took the last step. Touching the clouds was an achievement on its own, but being able to ascend past the clouds was what qualified one to receive the t.i.tle of immortal. Only eight people had fully pa.s.sed the trial throughout all of time, and they were qualified to look down on everyone else. It should be impossible for this young man to succeed!

Everyone stared as Lu Yin's eyes glazed over again. He saw a gra.s.shopper, and then he was the gra.s.shopper. The moment his consciousness became that of the gra.s.shopper, the bug was instantly trampled to death.

The first time, he had been stepped on instantly, but the second time, he managed to avoid that first foot. Relying on the experience of the gra.s.shopper that had just died, the insect jumped about, avoiding the place where it had been squashed as well as death. However, the gra.s.shopper could not avoid all the feet.

It was an incredibly congested street, and from the gra.s.shopper's perspective, the street was filled with giants, each of whom was trying to stomp on him. As far as a bug could see, the sky was collapsing and falling down on him.

The gra.s.shopper was almost instantly crushed again, only to restart the cycle at the beginning. It seemed to be an endless loop.

No matter where the gra.s.shopper leaped, it was impossible to avoid being stomped. He managed to jump five times, but was crushed after the sixth.

He had no knowledge of how to escape from the street. All the gra.s.shopper knew of its life and existence was the street, being stepped on and crushed, and then being resurrected. Eventually, after completing seven jumps, he looked up and saw the face of one of the pedestrians. The gra.s.shopper jumped again, landing on the man’s foot, but it was kicked away. The force of the kick rattled the insect’s body, shattering it. At the moment of death, the gra.s.shopper managed to get a look at several other people’s faces, but each face was the same; all of them were the same man.

The gra.s.shopper was stomped to death again and again, and it tried to escape from the street again and again. The cycle repeated countless times, but the insect was never able to escape. It was also unable to truly die, and the face of the man on everyone in the street became branded into the gra.s.shopper’s mind, filling its consciousness like the sky above.

Every time Lu Yin saw the man's face, the gra.s.shopper's movements momentarily froze. It was as though the man wanted the insect to be stepped on, hoping for it to die.

The face was burned into the gra.s.shopper’s memory and mind, replacing and overwhelming everything else until nothing was left.

When the whisper started, it was barely noticeable, but as time pa.s.sed and the gra.s.shopper was stomped to death repeatedly, the whispers grew louder and louder. Finally, three words appeared in the gra.s.shopper's mind: Origin Progenitor’s Sutra.

At that moment, the gra.s.shopper’s mind became clear. He was no longer the gra.s.shopper, but Lu Yin. He knew who he was, and he understood that he was experiencing another portion of the Sky Beyond the Sky trial. He was not a gra.s.shopper.

A shadow fell upon Lu Yin. A foot was about to crush the gra.s.shopper again.

Lu Yin reacted instantly, and the gra.s.shopper escaped. It leaped away from the person who had been about to crush it. Without any hesitation, it leaped all over the man’s body. As Lu Yin moved around, the man’s hand stretched out to slap the insect with a seemingly ma.s.sive hand. The hand moved incredibly quickly, and the ma.s.sive difference in size made the hand appear to cover the entire sky.

However, Lu Yin was still able to avoid the hand. The whispers of the Origin Sutra grew louder and louder until the entire street was shaking.

Lu Yin moved the gra.s.shopper’s body around, and he even jumped onto people’s foreheads. He looked around and saw the countless identical faces on the people walking by in a hurry. Beneath their feet lay the corpses of countless crushed gra.s.shoppers, yet not one person seemed to care as they hurried along without any hesitation, completely filling the entire street.

Lu Yin jumped up and landed atop a person’s head. They wanted to stomp on the gra.s.shopper, but he intended to step on them.

Very soon, people watched in utter disbelief as “Yu Hao” rose into the clouds and disappeared. He soon emerged from the clouds and found himself high in the sky. He had completed the Sky Beyond the Sky trial, becoming the ninth person in all of history to do so. He had joined the ranks of those known as immortals.

Everyone stared upwards in a daze.

At this moment, even Wu Yao and the G.o.d of Food were looking up at “Yu Hao” as he took the final step to become an immortal.

With this extra step, it was the difference between heaven and earth.

He was a true genius who would become both a Progenitor and an Array Grandmaster. This man was a monster who could compare to Bai Xian'er!

At this realization, Bai Su quickly roused Wu Yao from his daze.

Semi-Progenitor Chai instantly appeared before w.a.n.g Nian, badly startling the Array Master, though his expression quickly changed from frightened to annoyed. "Senior Chai, these are my private quarters, and you cannot just barge in here like this!"

A Realm Array Master had no need to act submissive to Semi-Progenitor Chai, as they both had equal statuses within the w.a.n.g family.

Semi-Progenitor Chai nervously asked, "Has the family spoken to Yu Hao? Have any conditions been offered?"

w.a.n.g Nian arched a brow. "Why do you ask?"

This not only concerns a future Progenitor, as don’t forget that, before the young man completed the Sky Beyond the Sky trial, he was also a Realm Array Master.
