Chapter 856: The Atmosphere Is Still Not Right

She was carrying something in her hand. The nanny immediately walked forward and took it.
“Where’s Sinian? I only dealt with the hospital’s matters, and he came back first!” Wen Lan knew that her son was anxious to come back to see Qian Qian, but she was more worried that there would be a barrier between the two of them now that they had met.
“He’s upstairs. Qian Qian is accompanying him.” The Old Master sounded much more relaxed.
“Qian Qian is accompanying Sinian?” Wen Lan couldn’t believe it.
“Yes, Madam. Young Madam even wiped Young Master Fu’s body and applied medicine. She has been accompanying Young Master Fu and didn’t go downstairs,” Jin An said affirmatively.
“Qian Qian even helped Sinian apply medicine and wipe his body?” Wen Lan almost cried when she heard these words.
Did these two children cross this hurdle now?
s.h.i.+ Qian walked downstairs and saw Wen Lan. She called out softly, “Mom, you’re back.”
Wen Lan immediately looked up. “Yes, Qian Qian. Aren’t you resting? Why are you downstairs?”
“Sinian is still asleep. I wanted to come down and pack my mother’s things.”
“Then can Mom help you pack?”
“Okay.” s.h.i.+ Qian nodded.
The two of them went to s.h.i.+ Qiuran’s room when she was alive. s.h.i.+ Qian had already cleaned up half of it.
Actually, the room seemed to be filled with things but there were not many things that really belonged to s.h.i.+ Qiuran.
Many of them had been bought by her grandfather and Sinian’s mother.
s.h.i.+ Qian packed up what belonged to her mother.
Wen Lan saw some children’s supplies.
Tears welled up in her eyes.
Qiuran had made these herself. She said that they were for Qian Qian and Sinian’s babies in the future. When she saw them, she liked them very much and even told Qiuran that she wanted to learn from her.
The two of them even imagined the scene of Sinian and Qian Qian taking care of their baby together when they had a baby.
“Mom, these clothes belong to my mother. I want to burn them sometime.
“Okay.” Wen Lan nodded.
After packing up, the two of them sat on the bed. Wen Lan stroked s.h.i.+ Qian’s cheek lovingly. “Qian Qian, I’m also your mother. Just treat me like your biological mother. We get along like mother and daughter.”
“Thank you, Mom. My mother has been under your and Grandpa’s care. I haven’t thanked you yet. I’m really grateful to you and Grandpa,” s.h.i.+ Qian said sincerely.
These words had actually been weighing on her heart. She hadn’t had a chance to say them yet.
“Silly child, I’ll be angry if you say such things again. I treat you like my own daughter and Qiuran as my sister. We’re family, so there’s no need to thank me.”
“Yes, I understand,” s.h.i.+ Qian replied obediently.
At night, Fu Sinian also went downstairs for dinner. After dinner, he deliberately sat in the living room and didn’t go upstairs.
From time to time, he looked in s.h.i.+ Qian’s direction.
He was not sure if s.h.i.+ Qian would sleep with him at night.
He had heard that she had been sleeping in her mother’s room since she returned to the old residence.
s.h.i.+ Qian came to the living room and looked at Fu Sinian. “Jianshen said that you can’t stay here long. Shall I help you back to your room?”
This was what Fu Sinian had been waiting for. He immediately stood up.
s.h.i.+ Qian helped him upstairs.
After the two of them left, Old Master and Wen Lan looked in the direction of the staircase.
“The atmosphere between Qian Qian and Sinian is still not right,” Wen Lan said slowly.
“As long as they’re together, they’ll slowly get better. It’ll be fine as long as it lasts.” Old Master also felt it, but there was nothing he could do.
Now that the two of them were still together, it was the best they could hope for.
Wen Lan sighed. “Yes, that’s the only way..”
