Chapter 29
I Do Not Know Her
The man only treated her as an ordinary employee, so he replied in an unpleasant tone, “Yes, I am. What’s the matter?”
“You’re the person in charge of materials?” Yin Xun confirmed it again.
“What, could it be that you’re a big leader who came down for an inspection? Do you want me to show you my work pa.s.s? Really, I’ve already told you I’m the one, why are you still asking?” The man replied in a bad mood. He had too much fun outside last night and was very sleepy at the moment. He needed to rest.
Seeing the man like this, Yin Xun nodded and said indifferently, “Okay, let me ask you. Since you’re in charge, did you find any problems with the materials?”
“You’re here for an inspection?” The man’s expression turned serious as he sensed that something was wrong.
“President Yin, you came over personally again. Is there something wrong?”
At this moment, a voice suddenly came from behind. The man and Yin Xun looked over at the same time. It was a quality inspector, walking over with a stack of doc.u.ments.
“President Yin?” When the man saw the quality inspector call Yin Xun ‘President Yin’, he was instantly stunned.
He had seen Yin Cheng before, and President Yin was supposed to be a man. Why did a female President Yin appear?
When the quality inspector saw that the man did not know Yin Xun’s ident.i.ty, he showed an especially exaggerated expression of surprise and asked in disbelief, “Why? you don’t even know President Yin? This is the Young Miss of the Yin family, and she is in charge of this project.”
The moment he heard Yin Xun’s ident.i.ty, the man was immediately unable to remain calm. His att.i.tude had a 180-degree turn. He nodded his head and bowed towards Yin Xun as he said, “President Yin, I am really sorry. I have been on leave for the past few days. I have some matters to attend to at home, so I had not known you. If you have anything that you want to ask, feel free to ask me.”
Yin Xun did not have much of a reaction to the man’s sudden change in att.i.tude. Her expression was still calm, and no one could tell what she was thinking at the moment. “Since you’re in charge, then let me ask you, why didn’t you inspect anything when you received the materials?”
The man seemed to have been prepared for this. He did not panic at all in the face of Yin Xun’s questioning. He smiled and replied, “President Si is in charge of the materials this time. Second Miss has already informed us in advance and told us not to bother, so…”
Yin Mo had indeed told them that before, and they saw that Yin Cheng was very satisfied with this son-in-law, so no one paid much attention to him.
He definitely would not say that he was only doing this because he had received bribes. Anyway, he would push all the blame onto Yin Mo, and Yin Mo would take all the blame for them.
Yin Mo was pure and kind. No matter what mistakes her employees made, she would never punish them. She would only give them a few reminders. However, he did not know that Yin Xun was not an ordinary person. She was a transmigrator who had read part of the plot. Unfortunately, this incident happened before the novel began. She had read it all and knew all the people involved.
After listening to the man’s explanation, Yin Xun did not question him anymore. The man thought that Yin Xun believed him, and he felt more relaxed.
Yin Xun indicated that she understood and then called the quality inspector away.
In the novel, the quality inspector was always at odds with the man in charge of materials. It was the quality inspector’s job to ensure quality, but the material’s man was greedy for money and always colluded with others to hinder the quality inspector.
Fortunately, nothing bad had happened. In order to keep his job, the quality inspector did not dare to go against those people and could only go along with what they said. In fact, he had long been tired of it.
“What do you think of someone accepting inferior products?”
The two of them walked to an empty s.p.a.ce, and Yin Xun suddenly asked the quality inspector.
Faced with such a sudden question, the quality inspector was stunned for a moment before he reacted to Yin Xun’s meaning. As a quality inspector, his task was to ensure that the products were up to standard and he was responsible for the consumers. He definitely could not allow any quality problems.
“Of course it’s not okay,” he replied honestly. “This kind of behavior is harmful to consumers. No matter how much money you pay, you can’t accept it.”
Yin Xun continued to ask, “What if you have the chance to report such a person?” Of course, I’m only saying that under the condition of ensuring safety.”
“Of course I’ll report him,” the quality inspector said. “This kind of thing is against my professional ethics.”
Upon hearing his words, Yin Xun smiled and said, “I need your help…”
