Chapter 746

The Grandmaster remembered when he lost his soul during the bet against Dio, but this time, he seemed very confident about winning! 

Dio saw that the Grandmaster took out a wine gla.s.s and poured the water from the lake into the gla.s.s before handing it over to Dio. As far as he knew, unless the person that would drink the water from this lake had the blood of Ad.Pierian, the person would die an agonizing death!

Honestly, Dio wasn’t worried about the effect of the water on his body at all. He knew that he had the ability to cope with the aftereffect of drinking that water. The Turquoise Blue Overdrive was a Hamon Technique that could apply Hamon Energy over water, so Dio could control the property of the water he would consume later! This was the ability of the Hamon Technique!

Dio took the gla.s.s from the Grandmaster’s hand and immediately enveloped it with Hamon Energy before drinking all of the water inside. It was like swallowing an entire jelly as Hamon Energy completely separated the ions in the water. It was necessary so Dio wouldn’t digest the poisonous part of the water.

The Grandmaster smirked as he saw Dio drink all the water he gave him earlier, but he didn’t realise that he had already made an error in his judgement.

“It looks like I won again this time!” Dio said as he threw the cup aside while smiling victoriously. The Grandmaster was surprised as he believed that Dio really drank the water all the way to the last drop without cheating, but he couldn’t understand why the water didn’t have any effect on Dio’s body!

“Are you an Ad.Pierian?” The Grandmaster asked as it was the only reason why the water didn’t have any effect on Dio’s body.

“It doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters right now is I win, and you lose! These machines are all mine now!” Dio said with a smile on his face. He began wrecking the machines starting from the closest one to him without any hesitation. At the same time, a weird figure immediately flew towards the Grandmaster without any sound.

It was [Osiris] as Dio wanted to take the Grandmaster’s soul! But Soul Stone immediately reacted and prevented [Osiris] from directly taking the Grandmaster’s soul. But a white chip still fell into Dio’s hand. [Osiris] activation condition was very strict, but there was no possible way to counter it, well, except for the Soul Stone! So, it didn’t really matter what the bet was as long as the opposition agreed to bet! 

But it seemed the Soul Stone could replace the soul that was about to be taken by [Osiris] with another soul, preventing the Grandmaster from losing his soul. The worst thing right now was that the Grandmaster seemed to grasp [Osiris]’ power!

“Hmm, if you lose the gamble, your soul will turn into a poker chip! It seems even the Soul Stone couldn’t stop this power, but alas, I can still exchange the soul that would be taken! This is really an interesting power.” The Grandmaster said while thinking profoundly. He was a little bit surprised that Dio’s power couldn’t be blocked by the Soul Stone that was already powered by the other’s stone as well. 

“But what would happen if you are the one who loses the gamble?” The Grandmaster asked curiously.

“Didn’t you already know it? Why bother asking all over again?” Dio answered with a shrug. The Grandmaster immediately smirked as he had already expected this answer. It all made sense now. In other words, Dio wasn’t creating rules but using already existing rules! 

This was an important point because it wasn’t some unreasonable power after all! But suddenly, Dio’s stomach squirmed, and he spat out the jelly-like water that he drank earlier, and the Grandmaster couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows at that. 

Dio clicked his teeth as he really wanted to destroy all the machines in this place quickly, but the Grandmaster immediately stopped Dio by activating his s.p.a.ce Stone.

“It’s yours, but I haven’t specified when I will give them to you!” The Grandmaster said with a smirk on his face. The Grandmaster immediately activated the Time Stone on his hands and sped up the flow of time on the lakes, drying it up with a speed that was visible to the naked eye. 

Ruzie shouted for the Grandmaster to stop as she knew that once the lake dried up, the Ad.Pierian would be a thing of the past! However, she couldn’t even take another step as many rocks emerged from the ground and created a makes.h.i.+ft prison for her. 

The Grandmaster had the blood of the Gem people, and thus he didn’t really need this lake any longer. He used the Time Stone to speed up the machines and, as a result, dried up the lake faster. 

Inside the test tube, a red hair strand appeared and matured super fast as it became thicker. 

But Ruzie couldn’t hold her anger anymore! She transformed for the third time and immediately plunged toward the Grandmaster to stop him from destroying her family heirloom! 

However, the Grandmaster didn’t even care about her as he just flicked his hands, and Ruzie was immediately thrown to the wall and stuck inside, unable to move her body to confront the Grandmaster. Meanwhile, Dio remained silent as he knew that he couldn’t stop the Grandmaster. 

The only thing Dio could do was wait for a chance to completely turn the situation in an instant! 

Soon, the lake was dried up completely, revealing various bones at the bottom of the lake. This place was the true cemetery of Ad.Pierian! All the dead Ad.Pierians was actually buried at the bottom of the lake, and the catacombs earlier were all fake to distract people’s attention. 

The Grandmaster stopped his movement, and all the machines immediately broke and were destroyed! The Grandmaster immediately picked up the test tube in excitement as he might start a new era with this test tube alone!
