The one important thing in the process of a negotiation, is to avoid showing any true emotions. Xie Xuanchen gulped. Yet, in the end, he still looked up coldy, and faced the Imperial Physician emotionlessly.

Imperial Physician Zhang was taken aback by Xie Xuanchen’s speech, he was distracted and had no time to pay attention to other things. His complexion changed time by time and he looked very lost. After a long time, the Imperial Physician finally sighed sullenly: “Your royal highness, you are right. I should not be fluke minded.”

Imperial Physician Zhang was very detailed and Mu Mingtang understood his words. The diagnosis wasn’t that good, but it was better than she had expected.

Mu Mingtang asked: “What’s the least we could do now?”

“Avoid feeling angry all the time, eat healthy, stay calm and avoid any vigorous exercise.”  Imperial Physician Zhang, paused for a moment, and said: “ Take control and avoid turning manic at all cost.”

The imperial physician conveyed his message very vaguely, but Mu Mingtang understood that Zhang was referring to Xie Xuanchen’s illness.

If Mu Mingtang could understand him, so would Xie Xuanchen. He stood up and said: “Thank you.”

As he was about to walk out, Mu Mingtang called for him, before hurriedly asking Imperial Physician Zhang: “What medicine does he need to take?”

“It’s better to not take any medicine.” Imperial Physician Zhang continued: “ Medicine often comes with side effects. The prince is not sick, it’s just that his body can’t take his own strength. If you can make sure that his mania is under control, and take good care of him, he will recover very soon.”

Xie Xuanchen was about to leave, when Mu Mingtang finally understood him. She hurriedly thanked Imperial Physician Zhang and lifted up her skirt to chase after Xie Xuanchen.

As for the gold, it was naturally left behind and treated as a “medical charge”.
