Mr. Huo Wants To Buy Me Off?

It was 10 in the morning, two luxurious black cars stopped at the neighborhood An Xiaowan was living in.

The cars looked out of place, surrounded by small and dilapidated houses in the area.

An Xiaowan immediately took her luggage and rushed down.

Sitting in the front pa.s.senger seat, a.s.sistant Luo, who was wearing a suit, was slightly shocked when he saw her coming over with such ease. “You are only bringing these few things?”

“Yes, is there any problem?”

a.s.sistant Luo smiled and shook his head. “No. In the future, if you need anything, just tell me. I will get it for you.”

An Xiaowan opened the car door and hopped onto the back seat.

The two luxurious cars drove out of the neighborhood. As the car moved further away, An Xiaowan witnessed the scenery slowly changing from dilapidated and run-down houses to high-rise buildings. Then, it gradually became quiet.

A beautiful villa appeared in her sight.

The car stopped, and An Xiaowan was brought into the mansion.

The interior of the villa had a postmodern feeling to it. It was filled with cold colors, comprising of mainly black, white, and gray. There were few decorations, and it could be expected that anyone standing in this mansion would feel a sense of coldness in the air.

An Xiaowan thought to herself, ”

He is such a cold man after all

“Ms. An, this is your room.” a.s.sistant Luo brought her to the second floor. It was a room right beside the Master bedroom. Some daily necessities had already been placed in the room.

“If you need anything in the future, you can contact me or Butler Zhang.”

In the future…

An Xiaowan raised her brows and chuckled. “Oh? Does Young Master Huo want to buy me off?”

She lightly brushed her hand against her skirt and sat on the armrest of the sofa beside her. She raised her brows and asked, “What benefits will I receive? How about the price? Is my father’s safety guaranteed?”

“I would not carelessly agree to become his lover if he does not give me anything in return.”

The expressions in An Xiaowan’s eyes and her actions made a.s.sistant Luo stunned for a moment.

He regained his focus, cleared his throat and said profoundly, “I believe that you know who Young Master Huo is. Does Ms. An think you have the right to reject? Regarding benefits, it would depend on how you fight for it with your charms.”

An Xiaowan shrugged her shoulders and walked into the room.

What right did she have to say no?

It was better to be bought off by Huo Shen than becoming a toy for that pervert Director Huang. Although Huo Shen’s methods were horrible, he was young and handsome. More importantly, he did not have any weird fetish and could also protect her from getting bullied or humiliated by those perverted big bosses.

Thinking about it carefully, she was not taken advantage of.

She needs to support her father and also get her revenge. Would she not be too arrogant if she rejected a big boss like Huo Shen?

Since she did not have the right to say no, she should make good use of her time with Young Master Huo and complete the things she wanted to do.

Sizing up the room, she realized that the room was a few thousand times better than the cheap and dilapidated rental flat she previously stayed in.

She looked at the empty s.p.a.ce at the corner and turned her head to a.s.sistant Luo. She smiled and said, “How can a woman’s room not have a dressing table and a mirror?”

“Noted, Ms. An. I will purchase it immediately.”

a.s.sistant Luo looked at An Xiaowan’s happy and pleased expression. He suddenly felt that he could not understand what she was thinking.

“Then I will thank a.s.sistant Luo in advance.” An Xiaowan put down her luggage, turned her head to him, and asked, “Where is Huo Shen?”

“Young Master Huo will not be coming today. In the future, when Young Master Huo returns I will tell you in advance and you must return here before him. Other than that, you are free to go in and out of the place as you wish.”

“Alright.” An Xiaowan nodded.

Right after she spoke, her phone started ringing. It was a call from Manager Cheng, who introduced her to various odd jobs.

“Look at how nice I am. I already have a job for you as soon as your shut-out order was retracted.” Manager Cheng smiled and continued. “Edinburgh Golf Course needs someone to accompany and play Golf with guests. I remember that you were quite good at Golf and I signed you up for this. Is there any problem?”

An Xiaowan’s eyes sparkled immediately.

“No problem! I will be there on time! Thank you, Brother Cheng!”
