However, Hetu s.h.i.+vered. He suddenly looked horrified as he said, “I couldn’t see anything from one year later. Could it be that I died? I will die one year later? So, I can’t divine the future because I should be dead?”

[TL Note: Yellow Springs is another name for h.e.l.l in Chinese. However, the Yellow Springs Road is clearly not the same place as the h.e.l.l Path Sect Realm in this novel.]

“We will go too!” Ensnaring Performance called out.

“No. Houtu will do. The rest of you should stay. If you stay, you can delay Old Mister Guan Qi and do other things!” Hetu said anxiously.

Hetu needed to use Ensnaring Performance to deal with Gu Hai’s group, so he did not want them to leave.

“Did you divine that too?” Houtu asked seriously.

“That’s right!” Hetu lied boldly again.

“Very well. We will listen to you for now. If I find that you were lying when I return, I will make you suffer a fate worse than death!” Houtu said coldly.

“I’m absolutely not lying to you. You need to be fast! Quickly call Heaven back!” Hetu said through gritted teeth.

Houtu gave Hetu a deep look. Then, her figure flashed as she stepped forward, vanis.h.i.+ng.

“Houtu went to the nether realm’s Yellow Springs Road to head to the void,” Ensnaring Performance explained.

“That is good.” Hetu released his bated breath. However, he still showed an incredibly unsightly expression.

“Milady, should…should we ask Master to come out and destroy Old Mister Guan Qi?” Hetu asked with antic.i.p.ation.

“Shut up!” The Supreme Wa glared.

“My elder brother previously instructed that no one was to interrupt him, no matter the situation. Even if the sky falls, no one is permitted to do so. Furthermore, you can try asking Zombie One and the others whether they will allow it or not,” the Supreme Wa said coldly.

Ensnaring Performance, Longevity, and Purple Subtlety frowned slightly. They did not stand up for Hetu. While Houtu went off to search for Heaven, that was the right thing to do; hence, the three had not said anything. How could they obey Hetu’s every whim now?

Murong Yan shook her head as she looked at Gu Hai. “Me? I’m his wife, and at the same time, not. I’m Murong Yan, but not the real Murong Yan.”

“Oh?” Gu Hai’s expression changed.

Everyone felt startled.
