Chapter 2875: Spears

They stood there, looking at each other, their eyes locked together. This scene felt like it was predestined. It could only be fate that such an encounter would take place in their lives.

Just like what Donghuang the Great said, he had been waiting for a very long time for this.

“A pity I came a bit too early. If my Heavenly Path had been perfected and I made it to the Emperor-level, perhaps I could have had a fair battle with you.” Ye Futian sighed. He ultimately was still not on the same level as Donghuang the Great.

“This time, the Human Ancestor invited me to partic.i.p.ate in the battle. That’s why I led cultivators to invade the Divine Prefecture. But this whole thing was solely my doing. I do not know if I will die here, but I plead you to let the cultivators of Ye Imperial Palace go.”

Donghuang the Great looked calmly at Ye Futian and nodded. “Sure!”
