Soojiki’s note: Will be working until I catch up to chapter 6 for all series. (Just to match Weakest skeleton for now).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Every morning I always do these two habits of mine.
I clap twice and bow towards the sun as the first habit.
I was not really religious in my previous life. This only began since I was born here, around the time when I was 6 years old.
This world is where the weak dies and they are immediately buried. Truly a survival of the fitness.
If there’s no police organization, the medical growth has probably not grown much too. Since this is a magic and sword world, monsters are bound to appear too, with robbers running rampant. With the weather being unpredictable as well, food crisis easily happens. And yet, taxes are at a fixed rate.
I heard that before I was born, there were people selling their daughters since they needed money too.
It was smooth sailing for me since I was born with three abilities. I’ve been close to death about once or twice now. People are simple, I’ve seen 6 people die irrational deaths.
Living here is relentless. I’d know since in my previous life’s knowledge, this time period is often cruel. Might as well live happily and appreciate being alive.
Each time I think of this, I give my thanks. I’ve lost my previous life which couldn’t be helped, so I want to prove myself this life.
Pan Pan!
“I’m thankful for being alive. Thus I’m able to live here now.”
As I deeply bowed.
It seems like we won’t miss the rain coming down bringing the storm along. Though it wont be a problem since I can freely manipulate barriers.
With that, my second habit is visiting my Dad’s gravesite.
Dad’s gravesite is seen in front of our house on the right side, below the huge Lemi tree(Willow-like tree).
His name engraved in a semi-circular slate, with his sword erect on top of his grave.
If compared to the previous life’s tombstone, this is much more simple. Its pa.s.sable in this world as an average hero’s gravesite within the village (according to peddlers and adventures discussions).
Well, to me he’s a great hero regardless of what they say.
Dad was the only special adventurer in the village, in which he was able to skilled in swords and magic. His strength was on par of an Ogre.
However, after successfully fending off a group of orcs, he sustained a grievous wound in which he died from.
I think he matches my father in the previous life. Regardless, I’ll be the one to
protect my mom. I’m thankful that he gave me the life and give my love to him for that. As proof of that, I make sure the stormy tempest does not cause us any troubles.
Pan Pan!
“Dad&h.e.l.lip; Dad, the sons you gave life to, are truly great”
There was no bowing, but a smiling face could be seen.
