Other World Assassin Life of a Man who was a Shut-in 054

Oh, it’s morning.

Yesterday, after coming back from shopping with Sari, I quickly slept. I spent my night very relaxedly for the first time in awhile. Well, I have been having battles ever since the first day I came over to this world, it's been so long since I was this relaxed. Sitting on the bed, eating on the bed, and then relaxing on the bed, that’s the best.

But still, I can’t stay in the bed forever. Then, the plan for today includes going to the place of the Orc King which Guren-san requested where the goal is to raise my Level while investigating. Alright, since that’s been decided, lets quickly go have breakfast!

I got off the bed and started to stretch lightly. Alright, there doesn’t seem to be any problems today as well, shall we go? In order to have my breakfast, I proceeded to the 1st floor dining room.

As expected, since it’s morning, I can't even recognize any familiar faces. Still,

“Yo, Yuma! Good morning.”

As always, Iguru showed up. This guy is an early riser as usual, let's leave it. I sat down along with Iguru, while having such thoughts.

“Yo, Iguru, Good morning. You get up early day after day, huh?”

“That just means you’re a late riser Yuma! Well, I know that I am an adventurer, but I was a hunter in my village. I got up early to hunt and that became a habit.”

“I see.”

While I was talking with Iguru about such things, Sari came over with our breakfasts. She still seems to have the love idea in her head, which in turn is causing my face to turn red. I guess she is still bothered about yesterday.

“Iguru-san, Yuma-san! This is the breakfast for today! Please take your time to finish it! Th-th-then I will take leave.”

And then, Sari ran back to the kitchen quickly.

Seeing this interaction, Iguru said,

“Oi, Yuma, You went out on a date with Sari-chan, na?”

“I don’t know what you are thinking of, i'm sorry to disturb you, but the breakfast is getting cold. So, let's dig in!”

And soon, all the dishes were emptied.

“Ah, that was delicious. Oh yeah, Yuma, what are your plans for today?”

“Today, the guildmaster has asked me to run an errand, so I might probably take a request along with that as well. What will Iguru do?”

Also, Ogasu forest is the forest that I regularly visit to take down Orcs.

(ED: It actually had a name? I thought it was called Orc Forest, haha)

“Iguru, end your plans on going to that forest for now.”

“I see. I understand, that’s one of them. Then, where is the last one?”

“The last one is known as Gordo forest, this one is known as the most dangerous and the strongest of the other two forests. The monsters found there are very strong and deadly, the minimum strength of these monsters are C-Rank, so it's definitely scary.”

“What kind of monsters exist there?”

“They are known as Cyclops, they have a huge body and deadly strong strength. Around three or so Orc Kings have the same strength as a Cyclops. They are in the upper A-Ranks, but it's infinitely close to A-Rank, so it’s cla.s.sified as that.”

“That monster…..is quite scary.”

(ED: He could probably kill it in one shot like usual, then become S-Rank. Will be interesting)

“Last time, one of the Rare cla.s.s monsters led the invasion by allying themselves with the other three forests and leading them. The situation might just be repeating itself.”

I see. That case is definitely a dangerous one. Perhaps, if this city was attacked right now, it may not be able to survive from that calamity.

“But, the town was protected last time when the invasion happened, right? Did the Cyclops not appear last time?”

“Ah, you seemed to have been paying attention. Well, adventurers of A-Rank and S-Rank banded together to take it down, but the city ended up getting quite damaged.”

What!? A-Rank adventurers along with S-Rank adventurers, you say. Then, no wonder the town was badly damaged!!

“Iguru, this is just an if, if the town gets attacked, what will you do?”

“Run away! Is what I want to say, but I will fight. I have been in this town for many years, I have a lot of things I should protect, including in this city too. I cannot run away from my responsibilities, therefore, I will not.”

“I don't mind! Then, what would Yuma do?  Run? Fight?”

Iguru grins while asking this question, although he already knows the answer to it.

I shall also answer without any hesitation,

“I will fight, of course.”

There's Saria-san, Sari, and Risa. And then, Iguru and Grace. I can't abandon these people.

Besides, there are other means to prevent large scale invasions.

Satisfied with my answer, Iguru begins to smile,

“Alright then, I'm going to go grind, so that if an invasion ever does happen from the three forests, then I will have a stronger level to help out with!”

“ I am also going to head out. See you later, Iguru.”

After that, Me and Iguru left.

I am going to head over to the guild now.
