03. Flame From Hands

Ojii-san patted my head until I stopped crying.

“&h.e.l.lip;I’m sorry&h.e.l.lip;thank you very much.”

I’ve calm down a little but my breath is still somewhat hitched.

I promptly placed my trust on this Ojii-san who perhaps said some kind words to me while I’m crying.

We returned to the house where I slept some time ago and Ojii-sanserved some kind of pink tea.

I finally calm down after slowly drinking the tea which smelled lke roses.

Ojii-san sat down across me and pointed at himself and then&h.e.l.lip;

“***Alexei***. Alex, A-l-e-x.”

&h.e.l.lip;he began to talk.

『Alex』 was the only thing I caught but I guess that it is probablyOjii-san‘s name. This time, I pointed to Ojii-san&h.e.l.lip;

“Alex?”

&h.e.l.lip;then I asked so, and Ojii-san gave a big nod.

Apparently, it’s seems like the correct answer.

And then I pointed at myself and said, “Haruto”.

Several days after that, I continually learned words from Alex every day through pointing.

My notebook, which was originally filled with notes about flowers, is now full of this place’s words.

The information about this world that I’ve learned through such clumsy communication are the following: this country is called the 『Flower Capital』, Alex manages this garden and it appears like he has a fairly high standing.
