"Had I known early that you'd be looking like this, I'd rather not come!" That man refuted, carrying a hint of resentment. Footsteps were already making their rapid way over though.


"I'm already like this, don't you....know how to say anything nicer!" Yin Luo sighed, chuckling as she complained, "Yue Ran."

He stopped five feet from her, glaring at the invisible barrier and barked, "And you still have energy to set a barrier?"


"That wasn't set by me!" Yin Luo was answering in a slow manner, voice soft as if the next moment it would break. Suddenly a thought seemed to surface in her mind, the corner of the lips slowly raised, "Yue Ran, I'm telling you, I....I finally found it...found..."


"Just shut it!" Yue Ran turned around to glare at her, holding a hand flat in the air, "If you still have something to say, wait until I get in!" After saying that, he started to chant some incantations. Although there is no wind, strands of his hair lifted. Yin Luo hadn't reacted in time, the medicine was already swallowed, and now was choking. Coughing, "...You can't....can't be gentler?"


"No!" Yue Ran answered cleanly, moving his hand to the center of her back and slowly transfering some energy, accelerating the effect of the medicine. Yin Luo only felt a warmth spreading out from her chest, the pain from the wounds have eased quite a bit, the body also starting to regain some strength.
