"I have no idea what you're talking about."

He grabbed her arms and shook her. "The b.i.t.c.h who survived. The b.i.t.c.h who saved f.u.c.king Outlaw."

Ellen jerked her out of his grasp and shoved Meggie behind the wall she and Kiera now created. "f.u.c.k off, a.s.swipe," she snapped. "If Outlaw knew you were handling his old lady like that, he'd carve your f.u.c.king heart out."

"Old lady?" Snake sneered, glaring through an opening between the two women's heads. "So this young b.i.t.c.h has joined you two f.u.c.king wh.o.r.es?"

"No. Of course not," Kiera said calmly, holding Ellen's hand down. "She's used to how we do s.h.i.+t, so he's taking a break from us. She's his."

"And you know what the f.u.c.k that means, don't you, reptilian?" Ellen said with a smirk. She pulled out her cell phone and waved it in his face. "Outlaw is a phone call away."

Snake withdrew a blade from inside his jacket and held it to Ellen's throat. "Not gonna stop you from being any less dead by the time he reaches here."

"f.u.c.k you. Kill me. As a matter of fact, why don't you f.u.c.k all three of us up?"

Meggie made a noise of protest in her throat. She didn't appreciate Ellen so casually offering up their lives.

"Just so you know, you'll be a dead a.s.s walking," Ellen spat. "Outlaw wouldn't rest until he f.u.c.ked you with a spiked pipe. So you can kill us and brag about it to Outlaw. Because you're such a dumb f.u.c.k, that's what you'd do. Or you can let us go about our day and have another day of your life to look forward to. Your choice, f.u.c.khead."

"Sooner or later, Outlaw is gonna get his. I won't rest until he pays for what he did to my father," he swore.

Those words again, Meggie thought. Snake swearing revenge for his father. A chill swept through Meggie. She couldn't shake the sense of disaster, a hollow, bleak premonition of more blood and death.

"When I do," Snake continued, "you b.i.t.c.hes going down with him."

"What would you have did?" Kiera asked.

Meggie was glad her mother wasn't around to correct Kiera's speech. The wild, random thought a.s.sured Meggie she was losing it.

"Shut the f.u.c.k up, Ki," Snake snarled, his icy fury on the verge of erupting. "You're in Outlaw's bed now. Not mine anymore. So you lost any power you thought your p.u.s.s.y had over me when you let him in your s.h.i.+t."

The image of Christopher and Kiera in his office rose in Meggie's head and she gritted her teeth against the jealous anger rising inside her. Needing air, she backed away from the other two women and spun on her heel, glimpsing a tall man with the look of a teddy bear and the heart of a demon, on the opposite side of their lane, staring at her. Thomas. She froze, her heart hammering.

Snake stepped in front of her and gripped her chin between his thumb and forefinger. He turned her head from side-to-side, ignoring Ellen's demands to leave Meggie alone.

Snake grinned. "I can see Outlaw wanting to f.u.c.k you," he breathed. "You're one gorgeous b.i.t.c.h. If you didn't have the look of Big Joe about you, I'd find a place for us to f.u.c.k."

Meggie glared and opened her mouth to speak.

"At least you're not that f.u.c.king perverted," Ellen snorted.

"Shut up," Kiera warned. "Snake, c'mon, baby. Leave her alone. She's innocent. A real good girl."

"Not so innocent if she's f.u.c.king Outlaw," he returned, still holding Meggie in his clutches. "Here's a message to the wh.o.r.e, the c.u.n.t, and the innocent. When I bring Outlaw down, you three b.i.t.c.hes are going with him." He shoved Meggie away and she stumbled back.

One small comfort-Thomas was no longer anywhere in sight. Although she doubted it, Meggie could only hope he'd been a figment of her stressed out imagination.

Snake backed away. But he stared at Meggie, through her, bitter hatred in his eyes, before he and his boys turned and stalked off.

Ellen drew in a deep breath and sagged against the b.u.mper, just then losing the color in her face. Meggie thought Snake had stabbed her after all, but when she heard Kiera soothing her, she realized it was fear setting in.

Meggie remembered glimpsing a bottle of water in a cup holder inside the van. Grabbing Ellen's keys from the b.u.mper, she hurried and got the nearly empty bottle. There were no napkins available so she tipped the water over her fingers, then went back to Ellen and rubbed her brow and cheeks, hoping the coolness calmed her.

Both Kiera and Ellen stilled and stared at her as if her caring gesture surprised them. Meggie sniffed, imagining it would surprise them. In their world, they'd just as soon stab her in the back and watch her bleed to death.

"This might help you to feel better," Meggie said impatiently.

Ellen stared at her a moment longer, then a hint of a smile crossed her features. "Are you okay, babe?"

Meggie's hands trembled. No, her entire body shook. She'd never met a more vile man. She nodded, just wanting to get back to the club and lock herself in Christopher's room. But, now, that might not be safe either. Snake might come after them. "I-I'm fine. You?"

Ellen nodded, then lit up another cigarette. "Yeah. Why don't we speed our day up? Don't give us no more s.h.i.+t. Pick out a f.u.c.king wardrobe, so we can get the f.u.c.k outta here."

"Shouldn't you call Christopher?" Meggie asked. "Warn him? I-I mean Snake might go and try to do him something."

"Take her, Ki. Let me alert Outlaw to what limp d.i.c.k is up to."

"Come on, Meggie."

Meggie had even less inclination to shop now than she had before, but she wouldn't be difficult. Or stupid. She needed clothes. She spent less than half an hour in the first shop, where she picked out panties and bras, a robe, and several nightgowns. When she went to the second store, Kiera helped choose items from the racks. Still, they spent nearly an hour in that store and Meggie began to regret her lackl.u.s.ter shopping earlier. She hoped she liked her purchases as much later as she did now, viewing them under duress with two madmen circling about. The last shop they went to before they piled into Ellen's old, clunky utility van was a shoe store where Meggie bought two pairs of flats, a pair of pumps, and a pair of high, strappy sandals. On the way back to the club, they stopped at a drugstore, so Meggie could purchase her own soap, shampoo, new makeup, and feminine products. Although Christopher had brought her to a drugstore, he hadn't asked if she needed anything and she hadn't bothered to mention it. At the time, his injury concerned her more. He'd just walked out of the hospital so buying items had been the last thing on her mind. Now, though, not only did she purchase her personal items, she also loaded up on Milky Way candy bars. They were her absolute favorite and she hadn't had one in weeks. She added chocolate milk to the basket.

"Hey, the price of this s.h.i.+t's f.u.c.king ridiculous here," Ellen pointed out, indicating the milk and candy with a nod. "We can stop at a grocery store and get that s.h.i.+t and any other food you'd like."

"We could? I-I thought...Christopher doesn't have a fridge in his room."

"And? Put your s.h.i.+t in the little kitchen. No one will f.u.c.k with it."

"In that case, we can go to the store." Meggie's stomach growled and she bit down on her lip. She really wanted a visit to the Pike Street Market. But it was in Seattle and she was here, so she'd have to settle for whatever grocery store she could find.

"s.h.i.+t," Ellen groaned with a scowl. "f.u.c.king Outlaw is going to flip. You shoulda ate."

Meggie decided to buy the milk and dropped it in her basket. She wasn't sure where Kiera was, but Ellen trailed her as she roamed to the section with condoms. She stared at them, wondering if she should buy any. She couldn't help but remember the condom hanging from Christopher's p.e.n.i.s when he'd been with Kiera. And, yet, he hadn't used any with her.

"He's out?" Ellen said with a knowing laugh.

"I-I think so," Meggie said quietly. She squirmed, feeling young and immature. But in her house, s.e.x wasn't discussed. "We...he...we..."

"G.o.d, babe, spit it out. Your cheeks are as red as Rudolph's b.a.l.l.s."

Meggie giggled and huffed out a breath. "He didn't use a condom last night," she said in a rush.

Instead of being shocked, Ellen just shrugged. "That's interesting. But, yeah, I can see why that might freak you out. Get some. Just make sure they're magnum."

"What the f.u.c.k you b.i.t.c.hes doin' in a G.o.dd.a.m.n drugstore with that f.u.c.kin' motherf.u.c.ker on the loose?"

Meggie jumped ten feet in the air at the sound of Christopher's growl. He was already shoving more money into Ellen's hands. "Pay for this s.h.i.+t. Kiera is already on Traveler's bike." He glared at Meggie. "You. Come with me. We'll wait for you outside, Ellen. And don't be f.u.c.kin' long." He looked down at Meggie, his green eyes bright with fury. "Are you okay?"

Meggie swallowed at the tenderness in his tone. "Fine, Christopher," she whispered, then braced herself for him to yell and holler about how she couldn't use his Christian name.

He grabbed her hand and guided her outside, where about a dozen bikers waited. It confused Meggie to see Kiera making out with another guy, whom she a.s.sumed was Traveler. Christopher glanced at them and Meggie waited for a confrontation. Instead, he handed her a helmet.

"Does that hurt your feelings?"

He frowned in confusion. "What?"

"Kiera. Her and...and Traveler...? You know, Traveler was the name of General Lee's horse?"

Christopher grinned. "Up on Civil War history, are you?"

She nodded. "I love Gone With the Wind. That's dorky, huh?"

"Nope."

She fell silent. He was avoiding her question and- "As for Kiera-" He paused to light a cigarette and take a puff-"she's f.u.c.ked half the brothers in the club. Ellen has f.u.c.ked even more than that. They just like the other b.i.t.c.hes in that sense."

"So I could f.u.c.k anyone in the club too?" she teased.

All humor evaporated from Christopher. "You wanna f.u.c.k another f.u.c.ker?"

"I was just joking."

"Don't f.u.c.kin' joke about that," he growled. "Am I f.u.c.kin' clear?"

Meggie wrapped her arms around her waist and nodded.

"Yo', Outlaw," Val called. "Where the f.u.c.k is that slow b.i.t.c.h?"

"Right here, you f.u.c.king p.r.i.c.k," Ellen said, hustling out of the door, loaded down with bags.

"Jesus, what the f.u.c.k did you buy?" Christopher asked.

"Things," Meggie said. Her stomach chose that moment to growl.

"What? You ain't ate enough today or somethin'?"

"I wasn't hungry," she returned sulkily.

"What the f.u.c.k does that mean?"

"It means she ain't f.u.c.king ate today," Ellen called.

Christopher glared at her, then turned and mounted his bike in one smooth motion. "Climb on," he ordered.

Meggie hurried to him and gingerly climbed behind him. The pipes of a dozen Harleys roared to life and she wrapped her arms around Christopher's waist, pressing her cheek against his middle patch, wanting to forget everything but Christopher.

Chapter 18.

Outlaw groaned, his body shuddering as he emptied his c.u.m inside Megan. He refused to allow her to close those big, blue eyes of hers. He wanted her to see him while she came and watch him while he came. He wanted her to witness him at his most vulnerable-inside of her, surrounded by her gripping heat and spilling into her.

He collapsed on top of her, breathing heavily. He knew he couldn't keep his weight on her too long for fear of crus.h.i.+ng or smothering her. She squirmed under him and he felt himself growing hard again. She moaned, opening her legs wider. He sank deeper and raised himself up on his elbows, beginning a slow, steady rhythm.

She'd been quiet after they returned to the clubhouse, her thoughts far away. He thought maybe it had something to do with her run in with Snake. Even though she'd told him she hadn't eaten at the mall today, she merely picked over her food. Instead of socializing, Christopher announced he and Megan would retire early.

Behind closed doors, she'd uttered one, meaningful statement. "Snake is the spitting image of my father."

Christopher hadn't commented one way or the other. However, Megan was sharp and it wasn't a stretch to believe her quietness had been due to her run in with Snake, but not for the reasons first suspected. Like fear. No doubt fear played a big part of it, but Outlaw remembered Megan telling him Snake's claim of avenging his father. If she believed she and Snake were related, then she must've been thinking...speculating...concluding-about Boss's death and who was responsible.

He'd gone and taken a shower, his mind searching for plausible excuses if she confronted him. No matter the excuse, he doubted she'd ever forgive him if she knew he'd killed Boss. He'd washed away his alarm-quite a foreign feeling. As was his fear earlier when Ellen called and told him about the confrontation. Oh, he'd been livid, but the hard edges of his fury had been dulled by gut-wrenching fear. The moment the voting ended, he'd ordered his captains to prepare for a run. Instead of having to drive all the way out to the mall, he'd found her at the drugstore, studying condoms. Of all f.u.c.king things.

After his shower, he'd told her to take one.

Her smile had been sad. "I'd really love a hot bath, Christopher."

He'd shrugged, wanting to lash out at her for insisting on calling him Christopher. Ever since he'd heard his name in her sweet voice, he veered between thinking of himself as Outlaw and remembering he was also Christopher. Megan Foy was going to be the death of him. She drove him up a f.u.c.king wall. She wanted a bath instead of a shower? Fine. As long as he got her the f.u.c.k away from him for a little while. "Then take one."

"No, thank you. I don't like the mildew around the tub." She'd turned on her heel and locked herself in the bathroom.

If he had a soul, he would've sat her down and confessed to Boss's murder. Instead, soulless motherf.u.c.ker he was, he'd unlocked the door and crashed to a halt. She'd been standing in the shower, her body pink from the hot water, her nipples a deeper shade. Her long hair plastered to her face, shoulders, and back. And lathered soap covered her blonde p.u.s.s.y hairs. She held her hands in front of her b.r.e.a.s.t.s and Christopher told himself to let her be. She looked so f.u.c.king young, his heart and his head hurt, and he'd felt as vile and evil as he ever had.

They'd stared at one another, then her gaze dropped to his d.i.c.k, hard with want, almost touching his f.u.c.king navel. From that moment on, his d.i.c.k had been in control, telling his legs to move as fast as f.u.c.k. His d.i.c.k needed Megan's p.u.s.s.y, and it refused to let Christopher's conscience interfere.

He'd taken her in the shower before helping her to clean up. With a towel wrapped around her hair and one around her body, they'd gone back into the bedroom. Christopher had bent her over his desk and f.u.c.ked her again. Her body was sensitive as h.e.l.l, responding to him the moment he touched her. She'd trembled when he'd leaned over her, his fingers gripping her hips, his d.i.c.k pounding into her. He'd suckled the tender skin on her neck and she'd cried out his name while she came.

Once he blew his load, he'd pulled out of her, using the damp towel from her hair to wipe the juices away from her p.u.s.s.y and her thighs. He'd sat her in the middle of the bed and then combed out her hair until it hung in waves around her. That had been an hour ago and he was f.u.c.king her yet again.

He slipped his tongue pa.s.sed her lips, using it to f.u.c.k her mouth just as his d.i.c.k f.u.c.ked her p.u.s.s.y. Her lids closed and he wanted to demand she open them, but he decided not to press it. Instead, he slammed into her and she whimpered.

They finished together and Christopher rolled off her, burying his head in the pillow while his breathing came under control.

"Snake is my brother."

Christopher tensed at the soft words. She wasn't questioning that fact, merely making a statement she wanted confirmed. While he could appease that curiosity, if she probed deeper she'd make the connection Snake was gunning for him because he'd killed Big Joe. When she did, he was f.u.c.ked. f.u.c.k it. He hadn't intended to keep her anyway. This wasn't no place for her to live. She mightn't have been a virgin anymore, but she was still innocent. She didn't have blood on her hands and a head filled with murder, gun-running, and drug s.h.i.+pments.

f.u.c.k. "Yes. He's your brother. Three years younger than me."

She went silent, so Christopher turned his head toward her. She was staring at him and he couldn't decipher her feelings. If she'd guessed her connection to Snake, then she had to have guessed what he'd did to Boss.

"My parents never told me I have a brother."

Momentary reprieve. He could answer honestly. "Your mother didn't know. Just like Snake doesn't know about you."
