Here the raw part of that bolded paragraph! If someone can understand please explain how you were able to make out it's meaning. I get the general meaning about Su Yang sacrificing a bit of his tofu but putting into a sentence is a bit hard. Especially since I want it to be accurate.

do you? = it was originally without a question mark but the end of his sentence was has a ‘ma' (吗), which is a final interrogative particle that asks is a yes or no answer.

two mounds = b.u.t.t

down-to-earth = to have one's feet firmly planted on the ground (idiom); realistic without flights of fancy / steady and serious character

red banknotes =  Chinese money, I think the highest value bill has the color red or maroon?

the gains do not make up for the losses = it means just as it says, getting close to Fu Zhou is very risky, like a moth to the flame. Also, that phrase was supposed to two idioms as a reference but since this sentence.

Looking up at the sky at a 45-degree angle = its a body language that means recalling past memories or picture or looking up hopefully. I searched it up, never knew there were so many meanings in each gesture.

Fu Ge = means Fu Zhou senpai in j.a.panese or older brother Fu (Zhou)
