Searching For You Chapter 67: I'll Bury You

Hue Chi knew that he was supposed to investigate Yu Sha but because there was little information on her family background, he was not able to dig up much. He hoped that maybe by conversing with her could help him probed for information. Though, on the other hand, he does not know why he found talking to Yu Sha is quite fun. Words that came out of his mouth were so smooth and natural. He cannot even talk in complete sentences with most people and often time, he dreads just talking to people. Not only that, he found her actions, behaviors, and voice so addictive and just being near her brings calmness to his heart and soul.

Yu Sha is not used to hearing sweet talk from men so it gave her the creep. She rolled her eyes feeling odd about the offer, "Thanks... for the consideration but I won't need it." She glanced at him thinking she will just not go to the deck at night. In fact, as much as Yu Sha loves her job and being around people, it is quite draining constantly being around people. She likes to have her own s.p.a.ce and time for herself as often as she could.

"I'll be leaving now." She turned around and stormed off.

Yu Sha decided to walk back to her room and wait for the s.h.i.+p's main entrance to open up. Maybe she and Su Na could go out to the sea and soak in the sun later in the afternoon. When Yu Sha arrived back to her room, she went to lie down on her bed. She put her hands behind her head and stared at the ceiling thinking about her dreams. She had a gut feeling that there is a message and more to her dreams.

Unable to decipher its meaning, Yu Sha reached her arm out to grab her phone on the nightstand next to her bed. She opened up her phone and browsed through the contact list. Maybe grandma might be able to give her a point or two since grandma is a medium. Yu Sha's finger came to stop at "Grammy" on the phone contact list. After a few minutes of hesitation, she retracted her finger and threw her phone next to her, "Arrggg. What the h.e.l.l! It was just some stupid dreams... Not like its recurring dreams." Yu Sha thought she probably is thinking too much into her dreams even though her intuition is telling her otherwise. However, sometimes, logic precedes over gut feeling and that is what just happened.

Several hours later, Yu Sha woke up from her sleep when someone knocked at her door. She lifted her head and looked at the alarm clock, it was past 11 AM, close to noon. Did I doze off?

"Yu Sha?" Su Na voice shouted on the other side of the door. "Are you ok? Open up?"

Yu Sha quickly rolled out of her bed and went to open the door. When the door was opened, standing there was Su Na in a bright maxi dress with her sungla.s.ses perched on top of her head. Yu Sha opened her mouth and apologized, "Ah... Sorry, I slept in too late."

Seeing that Yu Sha is wearing a different outfit than when she brought Yu Sha back to bed the night before, she felt relieved that her friend does not look horrible. "I thought I'll let you sleep in but it's almost noon. Do you have a hangover?"

"No, I think I'm ok. I woke up quite early this morning and decided to hop in the tub and then... somehow fell asleep afterward." She didn't want to go into details of the incident on the balcony.

Knowing that Yu Sha is fine, Su Na felt relieved, "Hmm. Let's go get something to eat."

"Ok. Let me grab my bag and phone." Yu Sha turned around and went to get her stuff and the two best friends made their way to the elevators.

Su Na looked over to inspect her beast friend's condition, "Let's go to Lili Garden Restaurant for a change and order something healthy."

Feeling a little disappointed at the suggestion, "Ehh... I hate waiting for food to come." Yu Sha complained.

"Oh my G.o.d, you're not going to die waiting for 20 minutes. And if you do, I'll make sure to give you a proper burial." Su Na chuckled and joked.

Though Su Na may sound like she is joking around, Yu Sha felt quite happy. Not many people in life have true friends through all stages of their life and she was blessed to have one. "In that case, I will outlive you and bury you so you won't end up being alone... hehehe... I will hack your social accounts and scare people too." Yu Sha joked back as she arched her brows at Su Na feeling excited that there is something to look forward to getting old.

"Hahaha... and if you go before me, then I'll do the same." Su Na replied back.

"OK, deal!"

The two best friends continue to talk and make fun of each other on their way to Lili Garden Restaurant. When they arrived, the server brought them to sit on a table by the gla.s.s window, facing the ocean and sh.o.r.e of the south half of the construction site.

The girls were chatting when they were seated so Yu Sha didn't notice that three tables down along the big gla.s.s window was Hue Chi, Long Kue, and Dao Txu waiting for their food to come. The men noticed the two girls right away when the two girls entered the door. They watched the girls being led by the server to the table.
