Searching For You Chapter 69: Su Na's Motive

Since the men arrived first, they got their food before the girls, so they had slowly started on their dishes before the two girls.

Each of them had their own motive to eat slowly. Dao Txu wanted to find out what the girls are doing by listening to their conversation while Long Kue wanted to see the change in facial expression of the Prince.

Dao Txu whispered and begged earnestly, "Prince may I get permission to have the day off?"

Prince Hue Chi pause slightly before continuing to take a bit of his food. He probably could guess what Dao Txu was going to do with his day off. He does not like it when the man wanders off and do stupid things. Dao Txu was part of his shadow guards whom if possible, he would like to keep Dao Txu in the shadow. But because of Dao Txu outgoing personality, he had allowed Dao Txu to make public appearances, go undercover to give him more variety of roles and to keep him sane. Dao Txu is extremely perceptive and is a great a.s.set to his team. Prince Hue Chi remained silent and did not say a thing.

Dao Txu begged again, "If not the whole day then just give me a few hours."

After a moment of silence, Prince Hue Chi muttered, "You have two hours to idle around."

When Dao Txu heard this, he almost choked, he coughed a few times to clear his throat before exclaiming loudly, "Oh My Lord, thank you for your leniency! I shall forever remember your grace!"

Long Kue peeked at Dao Txu, this guy is getting bolder and bolder by the years. Long Kue could guess that Dao Txu probably is going to strike a conversation and hang out with the two ladies.

The men took their time to eat as they wanted the girls to leave first. If they leave first the girls might noticed them. Typically they don't spend a long time eating their food unless they are in a private s.p.a.ce and is talking of cla.s.sified information. When they are in public, they eat quickly and move on to the next thing.

About an hour later, the girls finished eating. They paid their bill and left to get their beach supplies. After the girls was out of sight, Long Kue waived for the server to bring in their bills. When the server came by, he handed the server a credit card. The server took the credit card and went back to the register to run the card.

As Prince Hue Chi got up, he said to Long Kue, "Let's continue on with today's schedule."

Long Kue got up and replied, "Yes, Prince," and he followed the Prince out of the restaurant. The Prince have a video conference meeting with some investors and so he had some preparations to do. Them leaving Dao Txu behind could only mean that he is free to do whatever he wants.

Dao Txu yelled happily behind his Lord and Long Kue, "I'll be back in a couple of hours."

Neither Prince Hue Chi nor Long Kue turned their head back to acknowledge Dao Txu's comment. They walked out of the restaurant like Dao Txu hadn't said a thing.

Yu Sha and Su Na went back to their rooms to get their beach supplies. They threw their beach towels and sunscreen into their beach bag. They changed into swimwear underneath their dresses and made their way to the cliff.

The sun was high and the sea was calm, the ocean looked breathtakingly beautiful with the pure white sh.o.r.e sands. The ocean was cleaned with no evidence of human pollution. Yu Sha looked around the place, then at the calming waves and sighed, "What a beautiful place, it's such a sad thing, that human progression is going to make this beautiful place unbeautiful." And she was part of the human progression team which make her feel slightly dishearten.

Su Na looked at Yu Sha with the same feelings, but she had her own reasons as to why she has decided to be part of the human progression team, "Don't think about all those sad things, think about the money!"

"You sure it is the money?" Yu Sha joked though she knew the reason why. Su Na is competing against her archenemy and money is not even the motive. Yu Sha then had flash back of when Su Na was approached by a woman after they had successful completed Herr's Corporation renovation and were in the news all over Lyon.

The Herr's Corporation threw a celebration party after the renovation and had invited all the social elites and stakeholders to attend the celebration. At the party, outside in the flower garden yard, in a place that was somewhat isolated, a woman who looked in her 40s, radiated a fiendish aura with hidden intention in her eyes, words and behaviors approached Su Na.

"My, my... Just because you happened to grabbed hold of one project, you are already acting so egotistic, not even saying hi when you meet your father and me after a long time? I never thought the stupid wh.o.r.e would live this long." The woman said provokingly.

Next thing is a big slap right across the woman's face. The sound of the slap was loud that a few people nearby could hear it. The woman's face was slightly swollen and red. She was furious, she lifted her hand up and returned the slap but Su Na had backed side way. The woman's hand landed on nothing, only hit airs and that made her tumbled a few steps forward. She turned around and glared at Su Na while one of her hand is soothing her face that was slapped by Su Na.

Su Na smirked at the woman in a satisfactory tone, "That slap was for my mother, the first wife of the Song Corporation until you came along, plotted your scheme and got her kicked out."
