When he arrived at the arbor through the new green verdure, Tinaria, who came earlier, did a small greeting with a gentle smile as usual and began reading her book once again, sitting in the shade of a tree. A gentle silence surrounded them, the sound of a flipping page sometimes resounded.
While Keithfalt turned up the doc.u.ments sitting in the arbor bench as usual, he s.h.i.+fted his attention to Tinaria for a look and a talk. Only streaks of silver hair which were glossy through the spring sunlight were shaking in the wind. Immediately after thinking that the wind was strong in the afternoon, a strong wind that seemed to be the first of the season carried off the hand of Keithfalt. While being surprised, the mischievous wind blew up the doc.u.ments that scattered.
Tinaria too held her hair surprised by the unexpected strong wind, but when she saw the doc.u.ments scattered around, she rushed over in a panic to collect them with Keithfalt.
"Here you go. Is there everything?"
To Tinaria who held out the doc.u.ment she collected while saying that, Keithfalt pointed out one sheet doc.u.ment that was caught in the branch of a tree while sighing and staring at the same time.
"Oh my, what shall we do? It is an important doc.u.ment, right? Sh, should I go and search for something like a stick to get it?"
Keithfalt stopped Tinaria who was about to rush at any moment.
"There is no stick that could reach such a place. In addition, I don't mind since it is not something indispensable, it is merely a little bit inconvenient."
"Is that so…"
After saying so, Tinaria saw Keithfalt turning back, she looked up at the branch that was scratching the doc.u.ment.
****************
The next day, she greeted Keithfalt that headed to the arbor, she was hugging in her chest one piece of paper like something valuable. She went trotting in his direction which was different from usual, as she drew nearer, he noticed that her lovely face had a small scratch.
"Thank you for your hard work.
Here, it is the doc.u.ment from yesterday. In case you still need to use it…"
That being said, the doc.u.ment she submitted with her hand that also had scratch marks, was exactly the one that flew because of yesterday's wind.
"Don't tell me… Did you climb?"
When he enquired, Tinaria avoided his gaze as she was fl.u.s.tered, then faced downward in embarra.s.sment, and replied "…….Yes." while turning bright red.
"..Anyway, there was no crucial information recorded. Even if you saw into it, it would be of no use whatsoever."
To be honest, he could not imagine someone like this frail person climbing up a tree, but rather drawing his attention by going that far, and despite declaring something really sarcastic, Tinaria only showed a peaceful smile.
"I am in your debt, what do you intend to ask for?"
"I don't have such intentions… No, um, …. One thing, I have one request."
Listening to the reply of Tinaria who began to talk nervously, Keithfalt, who urged her to continue with a disdainful look as she wanted something as he expected, made eyes like dots at her next words.
"I would like to have one of the primroses blooming here."
"Ha?.. It was about flowers? Such a thing, you can have one on your own."
"You will do me a favor, right? Therefore, I would like to receive it by your hand. Is it not good?"
It was not a thing involving money. he could not read her intentions, but rather than this, he took a foot in a corner of the garden where primroses were blooming cuddled close together. He broke by hand a flower that had cute and small petals stretching out, and held it. Tinaria received it while seeming to cry for an instant, she hugged it on her chest like a real treasure——— and smiled out of genuine happiness.
