Lu Zhaoyang blushed for some reason. It was probably due to the fact that she was caught “wet-handed” over her actual thoughts. She got up and zoomed into the shower room. The white light was glaring as she stood before the shower head. The warm water splashed upon her body. She was even more confused, not sure if the ever-changing temperature of water or the episodes in the past that irritated her.

She rushed out of the bathroom after showering and began searching for her handphone. Her sixth sense was urging her, imploring her over what possibly had happened with Chen.

Lu Zhaoyang went for the handbag behind her but the plot changed when Huo Yunting accidentally pulled the only towel she had. She lost balance and fell upon the bed. With the agility of a Venus Flytrap, the devil tumbled and caged her within his limbs as his eyes expressively winked upon her.

“How are you so sure? Is there an eye in Golden City or you plotted the entire thing yourself?” Speculated Lu.

“Let’s just say. Life would be much, much easier for the both of us if you stopped suspecting everything was on me one day.” He then closed his eyes and went quiet.

Zhaoyang was not wrong. He did have an eye there. It was Huo Li. Well, Huo Li was more like an “aid”. Just in case anything happened.

He fully trusted the capability of his uncle. If Huo Chen could mess up the night, he certainly did not deserve his position as a junior commander in the military.

Zhaoyang was not convinced however. Her eyes remained wide open as she waited for the break of dawn impatiently. There was a few minutes where she unawarely fell asleep but it was forty winks for her when she spread her eyes wide open right after.

“I’m going.” She promptly got up the moment she glimpsed the morning sunlight peeking through the window. She pushed her man’s arm away.

“Hmm—this—early?” He rubbed his eyes and immediately seized her again, “Five more minutes.”

“No thank you.” She did not sleep at all for the entire night yet she was feeling very energized. “Oh…” Huo Yunting mumbled as he remembered their final conversation before sleeping last night. He yawned outrageously, “Well, check it on my phone.” He slid the phone from under the pillow to her.

“Okay…” Lu Zhaoyang took over his phone and she nearly threw it out of the window when the lock screen showed up.
