Chapter 13 –  Abusing You for Your Own Good (2)

“Mfmm!” Came Mo Linyuan's m.u.f.fled scream. His eyes instantly widened in shock, the green veins on his neck popping out. Ye Mu gave a small smile, her eyes looking a bit guilty.

“It's easy for the wound to get inflamed if it isn't disinfected. You should bear it for now!”

m.u.f.fled by her small hands, Mo Linyuan's bloodshot eyes could only stare at her.

Locked in this position, the two children were very close. He could clearly see how her brows furrowed for the tiniest of fraction when she saw him in pain. She felt the heat coming from her tiny palm, and the smell of milk coming from her breath.

These served to offer him comfort, even for a little while and his muscles relaxed a little, tension leaving. However, he was already damp with his cold sweat.

After Ye Mu disinfected his shoulder, medicine was quickly applied on the wound.

By this time, Mo Linyuan already had no strength left to even sit down. He was already lying on the bed, his breathing steadily evening out. Was he dreaming? But he felt that this dream is even too ridiculous. Ye Mu saving him, giving him medicine, and lastly, looking at him with worried eyes? Either he's gone insane or she's the crazy one!

His tired eyes swept across the room to Ye Mu as she laid down on the dirty bed and curled up into a small ball. Her little face which looked haughty before was now solemn, as if she was facing big dilemma.

Ye Mu's mind was filled with their earlier conversation from tonight. When she was concentrating on rubbing the medicine, she suddenly heard Mo Linyuan speak.

“Today, because I angered you, you sent me to the pavilion…”

Caught at this straightforward remark, Ye Mu felt she was caught in a really difficult situation! In a daze, she drily said, “I… did that to frighten you.”

Mo Linyuan listening to her reply, immediately sneered.

“Ten days ago, you kidnapped me and brought me to this residence… To make me obedient, you whipped me and then locked me up with Xiaolang. You let me run around a cage wearing a heart protector so you could play archery with me as the target.”

He spoke every word as if he was warning himself. To not forget how cruel Ye Mu's nature was and how his heart shouldn't be filled with contradictory feelings because of her recent actions.

And with every word Ye Mu heard, she lowered her head, cursing the heavens. At the end, she wanted to strangle G.o.d.

Why wasn't she given a better ident.i.ty? Was this all intentional so that it would be impossible for her to get the city boundary map? Since their relations.h.i.+p was currently in the deep negative, don't even mention about asking him to help her find that map in the future! She's a goner! Of all people, why did she transmigrate as the vicious cannon fodder who had cruelly abused the male lead?!

Could she even relax for a moment to positively look at the bright side of things? Not anymore! She must brush up a favorable impression and mend their relations.h.i.+p, or else…

When Mo Linyuan heard these words, his lethargic, drooping eyes opened suddenly, vigilantly looking at her.
