A player’s strength was not a huge factor in finding things. What mattered most was the quant.i.ty of players.

Quan Zhen Sect had less than a dozen people in its ranks. There was no need to compare it with Sanguine Alliance or Void Blade. They had even fewer members than even a small guild.

After all, there were too few players that had personalities that could match the characters of those in Quan Zhen Sect. The existing members were largely made up of players who had nowhere else to go.

It was simply finding a needle in a haystack for the dozen-odd people to find the administrative seal.

Fearless grinned, “Hey! For those who don’t know the exact location of where the seal is placed, of course, they would require significant manpower. However, if we can determine the location of the seal, wouldn’t two people be enough to retrieve it?”

“Do you know where the seals are located?” w.a.n.g Yu gasped in surprise.

Fearless nodded and replied, “I don’t dare to vouch for anything else but I can say with certainty the location of two seals.”

“Which two?” w.a.n.g Yu inquired.

“Which do you think is the most important?”

“Central Administrative District?” w.a.n.g Yu’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, but at the back of his mind he still harboured some reservations. After all, this was the district that Sanguine Warflag was after all this while.

“Correct!” Fearless continued, “It is indeed the Central Administrative District. This district is one of the most important parts of Twilight City because having authority over this district is equivalent to controlling the six other districts.

“Where is this administrative seal located?” w.a.n.g Yu caressed his chin deep in thought.

Fearless chuckled, “Of course it is placed in a location that is both the safest and the most dangerous at the same time.”

“Could it be the City Lord Mansion?” w.a.n.g Yu quickly came to a conclusion.

The City Lord would not have casually placed such an important seal. He would have placed this seal somewhere in close proximity to himself.

Although the City Lord Mansion was not too big and there were only a few possible places to hide a seal, there was no guild player who would dare search the mansion with the City Lord present.

“Let’s go then.” w.a.n.g Yu turned and began to walk out.

Fearless quickly pulled w.a.n.g Yu back as he shook his head in disagreement, “Don’t be too hasty, let the others try first.”

In order to secure the two seals, Fearless had voluntarily withdrawn from Sanguine Warflag’s team. Although Fearless had followed the previous agreement with regard to com-quest fees, it was still not an honourable thing to fight for the seals now.

Sanguine Warflag was also not a fool. If he saw w.a.n.g Yu and Fearless going back into the City Lord Mansion, he would definitely realise something was amiss. With the full force of his guild, he would definitely be able to find the seal ahead of the Quan Zhen Sect.

Since everyone was eager to find the seals after being a.s.signed the last trial, there was almost no one left in the mansion. After a short while, w.a.n.g Yu and Fearless came out of the alley and walked towards the mansion.

At this moment, three familiar figures suddenly came out of nowhere and they shot towards the mansion.

“It is One Page Book and her guild masters.” Seeing their fleeting shadows, w.a.n.g Yu replied in amazement, “How did they find out too?”

“You probably don’t understand this.” Fearless continued, “This problem can be solved by everyone but male and female players have different approaches to thinking about the problem.”

“Oh? Are differences in personalities between genders such a big factor?” w.a.n.g Yu inquired curiously.

“Of course!” w.a.n.g Yu dug deep in his pocket and pulled out a s.h.i.+ny junk ring and asked, “Would you pay five hundred gold for this?”

Wnag Yu twitched his mouth and said, “I wouldn’t even pay five hundred coppers for this!”

“If I asked that to a female player, surely one of them would want it.” Fearless slipped the ring back into his bag after he made his point.

The two also entered the City Lord Mansion. As they entered, they were greeted with the scene of One Page Book and her guild leaders rummaging through the whole hall.

The guards of the mansion stood stoically at the side, not interfering with their activities.

Fearless glanced at the mess that they had created and the two guards who were just ignoring them and said, “Let’s move, the seal is definitely not here.”

“Why?” w.a.n.g Yu was confused. Did Fearless not just mentioned that the seal was in the City Lord Mansion? Why did he change his tune all of a sudden?

Fearless pointed towards One Page Book and explained, “The three of them have searched this place so thoroughly to the point that the whole mansion is almost torn down yet the guards have made no effort to stop them. Clearly what we want to find is not here.”

“So where do we look now?” Surveying his surroundings, the two realised that the City Lord Mansion was spa.r.s.ely decorated. There was only a small yard and seemingly not many places to hide something.

Fearless directed w.a.n.g Yu gaze to the backyard behind the big hall, “It should be there.”

“Backyard?” w.a.n.g Yu quick glance furtively at the guards around him and hushed softly, “Do you have a death wish?”

The backyard is not part of the main City Lord Mansion boundaries but part of the City Lord’s private s.p.a.ce. Any intruders will be killed upon sight.

With so many guards protecting the mansion, w.a.n.g Yu would be hard-pressed to fend for himself if the guards turned aggressive, much less be able to protect Fearless.

Fearless continued, “Since this is a quest, the rules should have probably changed. Otherwise, the three girls would have been dragged out of the mansion long ago for their behavior.”

Fearless and w.a.n.g Yu pa.s.sed through the front yard and soon arrived at the backdoor.

As the two entered the backyard, two guards immediately greeted them.

Noticing w.a.n.g Yu’s high level of Twilight City reputation points, the two guards treated w.a.n.g Yu extremely politely, “May I know what business our esteemed guests have here today?”

“… Just taking a casual stroll around.” w.a.n.g Yu quickly conjured up a lie… Although he did not want to do that, it was far better than telling them the truth that they were here to steal something.

“You can stay!” The guard declared but turned to Fearless, “However, he cannot!”

“The backyard only allows females,” the guard explained.

At this moment, One Page Book and her two guild leaders walked out of the hall empty-handed. They happened to see the figures of Fearless and w.a.n.g Yu and headed to the backyard to join the commotion.
