After running several red lights, we arrived at the hospital. He did not park the car in the parking lot, but stopped by the side of the road. He lifted me and carrying me, ran into the hospital. Standing among the bustling crowd, he shouted, “Doctor! Save her! Save her! She’s lost a lot of blood!”

I knew that he rarely came to the hospital on his own. He had once patted his chest and told me that he had always been in good health. Even when he had a fever or a cold, he rarely came to the hospital.

Hence, he did not know if he should register or just go straight to the emergency room.

I suddenly grabbed his arm tightly and begged, “Su Qi… no matter what happens, don’t tell Yin Dongyu, okay?”
